I was watching the Wizard of Vause in a video clip, and a few things struck me.  He asked the poor girl a question, and then he proceeded, at great length, to answer it himself.  One of the perks of drug use the Wiz described was "instant celebrity".  I had the misfortune years ago of dealing with a psychopath.  He loved media atttention, and in a variety of ways sought it out until he ended up as a Long Term Offender and guest of the Federal Government.  His mannerisms were just like the Wiz's, and the way the Wiz speaks is identical to this monster.
Data88, in this forum people are free to say whatever they want.  The difference between this forum and AARC, All About Receiving Cash, is that nobody forced anybody to come here.  Nobody is forcing a belief system on anyone else.  And nobody is raking in money.
Data described his "experience"as positive, as though it were time at a summer camp.  AARC purports to exist to treat what it describes as a disease, not provide an experience that may or may not appeal to somebody's tastes.
Anyhow, the one thing to keep in mine about a psychoapth is that they are psychopaths.  No matter how refined the Wiz's sales pitch gets, he's still a complete fraud.
I was perusing AARC's propaganda and noticed that the Wiz is referred to as a psychologist in two different articles by Report magazine.  (mouthpiece of notorious Alberta freak and child-drowning expert Ted Byfield).  In as much as the Wiz is lying and that's pretty creepy, it's a demonstration of his weakness: he ain't a doctor, and the kids ain't drug addicts.
The funniest thing about Demon and Monk is that he has it right that there is a dichotomy for AARCies.  The problem is that the Demon aspect is AARC.  It represents some of the more base qualities of humanity: cruelty, greed, cowardice, hipocrisy, and dishonesty.   A person has to choose between giving in to these aspects of their nature or taking responsibility as a human being for their actions.
Few of the Wiz's flying monkeys are likely psychopaths, although the lovely Tanya W. may fit that bill.  The problem is that of so much of humanity where a person with a truly anti-human nature exerts power over others.

Excellent analysis, Ajax.  might I commend the book  Snakes in Suits for you as I'm sure that will help to refine the analysis even more.
Interesting that you should have had the misfortune to have had dealings with one years ago.  I was assaulted by one on campus who turned out to have a couple of magnums in his dorm room.  Fortunately he was kicked out of the U before he caused any more harm.  That was 30 years ago, but it was an experience that has served me well since once you know what that sort of personality is capable of, it becomes easier to recognize it.

Anyway, the book is a good read --- once you've read it there's a lot of people around that you'll be able to profile....

Quote from: ""ajax13""
I exchanged a few e-mails with David Grant, unabashed shill for AARC and consummate prevaricator.  I asked him why he described himself as a hardened criminal  when he didn't really have a prison record, just a couple of ten day sentences and a bunch of week-ends.  I also asked him some questions about the outright fraud that the Wiz sells.  His only response was to say that other people really liked what he had to say.  This was a moment that crystallized the true nature of AARC for me, and made me realize that the Wiz was really a psychopath and not just a misguided zealot: the truth doesn't matter.  For AARCies the only thing that matters is getting a pat on the head for reciting the correct slogans, and for the Wiz it's all about power.  Money, control of the kids, control of the parents, control of the slobbering fools in Calgary media who circle jerk for him.
Orange jumpsuits and garbage picks for the Wiz and all staff?
