This is apparently the Ethical guide for coaching.
This is part of the little do dads Izzy has at the bottom of her coaching page,
International coach federation member
NWCA
which goes to this organization.
Have fun!

She isn't a member of jack shit.  You can look up credentials on any of those sites... plus... she admitted to me "everything I know I taught myself".  Kinda like the "real world experience" I used to hear about in program.
 ::puke::
edit: hmm.  It seems like she is listed in the NWCA odd that she would leave that out of our conversation.

Calm down folks, seems if you are looking for a "credentialed" coach, Izzy AIN'T LISTED.

Does this mean she doesn't possess any of the three credentials listed?

Probably, if the search comes back TRY AGAIN.

PCC, MCC or ACC

I don't see Isabelle Zehnder as possessing of the three credentials listed.

Of course, that doesn't mean one can't be a good coach but with I don't see how having a credential is a negative.

From the postings about Izzy, it does appear she has, and will have, some probles with this code of ethics unless she does some hurge turn around.
Izzy does seem to have problems with accurately identifying her qualifications, expertiese and credentials.  The confidentiality issues seem to present  big problems for her, too: releasing names without permission, avoiding conflicts of interest, seeming to have problems with truth-telling.
As stated before, she will probably do just fine with #11; "I will not become sexually involved with any of my clients."

I hope Rose Moore isn't offended, but now that I see this budding partnership between herself and Isabelle, I won't be listening to her show anymore nor suggesting it as a resource for parents with special needs kids.  There are MANY other resources available to these parents that DO NOT have a relationship with CAICA at all (that I am aware of) so I feel very confident I am not hurting anyone by this decision. I just couldn't in good conscious recommend Rose Moore given her relationship to someone I consider to have very questionable ethics.  If things change, then I would certainly reconsider.

Izzy claims she gets 10,000 hits a day on CAICA, so she probably doesn't need those radio referrals anyway. :o   :o  :o  :o

Izzy read The Secret, and so did Sue, if I am not mistaken.

What's this book about?

While I believe much of what was said on The Secret, I believe some people will take it to extremes. Already, I met a couple of women in a restaurant. Both were quite overweight, both were eating large, unhealthy breakfasts. We began discussing The Secret (these were strangers, we happened to have to sit at the same table). They said they were both going to be thin simply by thinking they will be. The law of attraction, they said.

While I believe strongly in the power of positive thinking, I also believe in order for us to get the things we want we need to use logic and do the things necessary to get there.

-----

How pathetic is this?  Yes, Izzy, it's real "logical" to claim Caica isn't for referral to programs -- err ... except when necessary ... and then help send kids to unregulated programs who pay FINDER'S FEES to your pal, Sue Scheff.

Second, what kind of restaurant seats strangers together?

Fast food maybe?  Cafeteria-style?  Buffet?

If I were a parent of a troubled teen and I read this book, there is no way I could even consider sending my child to any program away from home.

Isabelle Zehder
Review of Help At Any Cost

But it's A-OKAY to send other parent's kids away?

Positive thinking is one thing - MAGICAL thinking is another.

I would not want to be forced into coaching sessions with Isabelle Zehnder anymore than I would one of Gilgrease's infamous TASKS seminars.

What is wrong with parents nowadays?  If they aren't drugging their kids into submission or compliance, they are forcing them into programs or hiring life-skills coaches.

Also, it seems Isabelle has had many "careers" in her lifetime.  Not sure what to make of the lack of professional testimonials but I suppose if your neighbors can attest to you as never telling a lie or being an all-around good "egg", that's something.

Anybody ever asked a neighbor to give a written testimonial to be published on your work website that you "don't lie?" That's a queer thing to do, IMO.

Hmmm.... the question I have is: Do these neighbors KNOW that they are on her website?

And what's the deal with all the anonymous testimonials?
Those are totally worthless.

IMO, anything that doesn't have an actual name AND permission to use it behind it, is fraudulent.
