I protested today.
« on: May 16, 2007, 08:34:18 PM »
I sat all day at a location that has high visibility to parent-aged looking people.

I held a sign that read
"Kids are being tortured right now - find out why at fornits.com"

If you notice an increase in your net traffic, now you know why.

I think if we all wore t-shirts, had bumper stickers on our cars and spent our free days holding signs we could really do something great.

In two weeks I am embarking on my cross country program sit-in. I am considering doing a hunger strike in front of a program, if I get it cleared with my doctor. Who wants to join me?

Great idea, you mind adding it to The Super Mega Ideas thread. I'm hoping to gather good ideas that can help folks actually get involved and what you did is a perfect example of something anyone can do. Were you alone?

f you were never in a program, or a parent of a child in a program, then you have no business posting here.

That is like standing in front of a gas station holding a sign that says "Buy a Japanese car!".

I'm not so sure I'm up for a hunger strike, but whatever you're doing, get a few ppl to help you get some media. All it takes is a couple of days notice so that someone can contact local media and give them the tip.

Here's a good example of that kind of strategy done right
