What happened to the staff from Springfield?
« on: May 02, 2003, 09:43:00 PM »
I was there in the very begining. Courtney? Dean Mistreada, Jim Sailor, Steve and his sister.

Who eles was staff at that time? It's hard to forgive the smirks and out right laughter as I was publicly demoralized.

:flame: I am absolutely full of twenty years of fear and anger!

Well, at least in March of 83, staff was dean mistretta, paula proffitt, her brother scott, kim hyde and jim were there at the same time on some refresher thing, courtney and nathan bright, joey glaze, todd miller, kim dimember, leslie murden, cindy waddell, matt lyle and some trainees, I have a list but not in front of me at the moment. Mel Riddile was the director, suzanne byrd was his accomplice along with some strange doctor named Dr. Schwartz. Schwartz ended up doing some "research" of some sorts with dean mistretta later on, I am still looking into that to see what exactly they were trying to do. One note: My mom did the cookbook thing as a fundraiser and it was dedicated to the "mayflower group". (The families that moved up from St Pete)  A guy I 7th stepped with went on to be a junior staffer, ended up marrying paula, not for long though. Scott I think hurt himself working, but I have not seen him since leaving GULAG5515. I did see the glaze's and bright's at the DC fireworks in 1985 drinking budweiser beer and flipped me out a little. I thought staff was supposed to be straight, LOL... I heard some story about Dean being a bar owner up in Massachussetts, strictly rumor at this point.
One sad note: Kristen Stottlemeyer was a junior staffer there in 83-84 and ended up committing suicide after going to NJ with the KIDS program up there run by that WACKO Miller Newton.

Hi, Who is this?

I was in there at that time too.  I'm Colleen McDonough.  I was in there with my sister Lorraine who entered the program after we came up to VA.

I was one of your old comers with Brain Disponet.
I have for the last twenty years felt awful about the way I trested the New Comers that were sent to live with The Disponets and Esparza house holds. We were told that we were to "motivate" and "make uncomfortable " people who were put with us. I am sorry for any wrong I might have done.

One of my oldcomers? I don't remember your name, and the name "Brian Disponet" doesn't yet ring a bell...I was never one of Esparza's nukes, though I do recall a drop-off arrangement that included him...Are you sure that was me? (If you were in fact replying to my post...)

Thanks, Alex L.

I could be mistaken about old comers. Maybe your correct it could have been a drop off. You have the word Trud on your fore arm. I remember one time when Steve Prophet let you play guitar in group. It took a lot of balls on your part to have played some Yes. I think you played  The Fish
or The clap. Just for a moment that day I was normal again. I will never forget that sensation.
I've always wanted to say thanks for that.

I remember that you had a sister I think. Did they ever try to get her in the program?
