anyone heard of a teen being picked up by the cops and taken from a wwasps facility and put in juvinile hall? for example has a parent ever tried to get their kid out by turning in a crime they did before sent away ?

Please don't do that. There are better ways even if it might work. If you are the parent, then you have parental rights; and I'd say get the child's birth certificate and your own ID in order - a copy of the divorce agreement and go get your kid. You might want to have the state police accompany you - and maybe a journalist from the local paper or a TV crew. By all means take a voice recorder and have it going during all conversations with staff.

You know it actually isn't the worst idea. However, you better be sure the Judge won't just send the kid back to the WWASP facility. However, in a Juvenile hall conditions aren't going to be great either. At least the kid will have legal representation and other rights not given at WWASP.

Again.. don't forget that its a crap shoot with what you will find at juvenile hall, and if the judge will actually send the kid to juvenile hall and not just back to WWASP to graduate the program.

It also depends on the state, some state juvi-halls are worse then programs.
