Dental program could be the expenses for employees benefits, BCBS.  It could be out of pocket expenses for other dental expenses also.

or dental office on campus, Ha,Ha,  (I just added this based on the above post)

No, HLA used to charge students for so-called "Dental Exams" that they claimed were mandatory by the state.

They are brother and sister of CFO, CEO Kenneth Spooner and are on the board of directors of HLF, Hidden Lake Foundation (non-Profit Co.)  Same mailing address as HLA.

Robert and Dianne are Ken Spooner's brother and sister.  (For those of you who don't know, Ken Spooner is Len's boyfriend.)

I love how Cindy feels the need to chime and try to explain everything about a school he knows nothing about.

The school used to keep a dentist on staff which the school charged a seperate fee for, later on it was determined they could make more money by firing the dentist (against state regulation)  and charging 90.00 per kid to drive them to a dentist in town, which they again charged the parents for.

Anyone else find it odd that apparently no one on staff, Len and Spooner included are making more than 50,000?

The entire board is stacked with Spooner's family members, however according to the lawsuit their roles are largely symbolic as Len allegedly controls everything and has even according to the suit signed Spooner's name to documents.

I wonder why HLA would need to send money to RC since parents have to pay a seperate tuition for their kids to go there? Along with of course still paying the HLA tuition. Also where was all the money for MBA going since the whole thing just sort of fizzled out.

I didnt see any mention of the chapel fund on there, shouldn't that have been included for the year in question?

A point of clarification. Programs are not required by the state to have dentists on staff. If they are licensed, they ARE required to take them for check ups and for any problems that arise.

Last I heard, there were 5 kids at RC who weren't there from HLA. I'm sure the money was to keep it afloat.

Unless things have just recently changed HLA students do not pay a separate fee for RCI.  The HLA tuition transfers to RCI.

My mistake Deborah, I was looking at the requirement that mandated each inmate brought in and each one sent to RC was required to have a dental exam. Thank you for pointing out the mistake.
