So the following questions are not designed to harass anyone who has made the difficult decision to send their child to TBS. They are just things that people may not think to ask when they are dealing with complex emotions and caught in te thick of things.

Is self regulation the answer to some of the problems within the industry when NATSAPs inaugural board contained a woman whose own programme managed to drown a bunch of boys?

Is this site really the best place to get advice on schools when it has given positive reviews in the past to **** which closed after a whole bunch of lawsuits?

Also while we are on the subject, what about the fact that the programme * ****** *** was recommended when it is off shore in Western Samoa and the US state Dept has issued warnings to parents about sending youngsters offshore to far flung places?

Why is asking such questions considered harrasment anyway?

I certainly dont mean to get any conversations off track, so I thought I would start a new thread. I asked similar questions a day or 2 ago but my post mysteriously disappeared. So in the event of a technical error I thought i would pose the same questions again in case any other people had the same questions or had not thought about these things.

Pasted it for  you. Apparently, Lon doesn't know how to code against firefox. Or.. it might be because I have a script blocker add-on.

Well, my guess is that the first one is CEDU. The second one I'm still hemming and hawing over. I know that WWASPS had a facility in Samoa, but "Paradise Cove" that doesn't fit the asterisks.

Ahhh!  So Firefox can get through Lon's barrier!   Well, he's able to barricade himself against Safari, cuz I can't cut=and-paste either...  Thanks ever so much for posting it for us, Castle.

I just tested it. It's the script blocker. Unlike IE, you are able to select and highlight the text in firefox whether scripts are blocked or not, but you can only right-click to copy if scripts are blocked. If they are not, you can still highlight and do a ctrl+C and get the text that way.

The script blocker I use is an add-on called no-script, and you get it just like you get any other FF add-on.

Of course, if you are a regular poster on STards, you'll need to toggle scripts on and off, or else it probably won't let you post. No-script is good at that, since there is an option box in the lower right corner, that you can click to allow or forbid a website.

Even if dicking around with an add-on is too much work, you at least have a workaround with FF, via ctrl+C or the edit menu.

Gotta love mozilla.

I almost asked re. Mozilla, but being anon the replies are sometime somewhat circumspect...

I have a Mac, so may not be able to utilize the right-click methodology with my current mouse...  I tried Mozilla about a year ago and was happy but not ecstatic about it.  Safari was the best at the time.  However, recent upgrade was significant, but accessible only by OSX 10.4, and I have 10.3.9, and I have noticed some less than perfect performance on certain sites... I amy go back and try Mozilla again.

I am not a poster on ST thus far, but I sometimes go over to read certain things, knowing full well the "objectivity" level and keeping that in mind.

Safari is firefox...  Same codebase.  Just select the text and hit command+C (the apple key + C)  If it's still not working, go to preferences and disable JavaScript..  I just did that in safari and it works.

This is all well and good, but does anyone have any clues as to the second facility Oz is talking about? The one in Samoa? I can only find info on WWASPS Paradise Cove, and that don't fit. So far, I only have half a bag of chocolate frogs.

This is like doing a fucking crossword puzzle. What's a 10 letter word for abuse?

1. 3 springs is not in Samoa. They have several facilities in the southeast US. (unless they added one I don't know about)
2. in order to make it fit, it would be "3 spring".. and then another word with 3 letters.

That's what I said, re: paradise cove, deborah, but it doesn't fit the asterisks. I got CEDU right, though.

Ok so CEDU was the easy one but the second one is a little more obscure. Some hints if people wish to do homework there will be extra credit. No drawing mens rude bits on the blackboard

 A ****E* **Y
I should add it is the name of the parent company not the school. these guys are pretty obscure.
Their school is
