Would, but the state store closed almost half an hour ago. Might dose w/ hypericum if I don't start winding down pretty soon. Been doing that too much lately, though.

Seroquel works for me, if I decide to take it. Although it's mainly used as an anti-psychotic.

brain: "Noooo, there are too many things going on! I don't want to sleep."

Being a night person sucks. I miss the sun.

BTW, what's a state store?

xanax always works for me and does such a wonderful job of taking care of any stress you might have before bed too

For some reason, benzos don't do shit for me. I'd have more luck with a magic stick.

Bwahaha. My neurosis is too strong for, you xanax.

A lot of people swear by them, though. I never notice any difference, even at really high doses. Guess I just don't have the receptors for it, or something.

In Pennsylvania, the state owns all the alcohol concessions. It's crazy. Want a case of beer? State store. Closes at 7 and most are not open on Sundays. 6 pack - 12 pack? 6 pack store. You can take two 12 packs if you want, but you'll have to purchase one, walk out with it and then walk right back in and purchase the other. State law allows that. Want wine? Not at the grocery stoor. Nope, liquor store, also owned and operated by the state and staffed by union employees.

Anyway, good thing they closed early or I would never have heard the trash truck and so I would never have gotten up to move my car and so I would have had a ticket for blocking the street sweeper. Trash guys got a bonus too, cause I was aaaaalllmost asleep and not thinking yet when I jumped up, threw the curtain aside to see what the noise that I knew I should pay attention to was. Woops! Ok, w/e, I didn't leave them a Christmas tip so I guess we're square now.

Hallucinogenics fail to effect me the same way, castle. Not precisely. I feel it and have some light effects. But mostly it's just like a tweaked version of my normal state.

Hypericum didn't really do the trick I wanted, either. Can't complain, though. I do feel all focused and calm. That's nice and probably worth staying up for. But I guess I'll try and get a nap in before the sun comes up anyhow.

G'night yenz.

re: state store. That is the craziest shit I've ever heard. That ranks right up there with some of the old Texas blue laws from the 70s and 80s. I think Dallas was actually DRY. (I vaguely recall having to go outside city limits to get the beer for the end of the year school party.)

The only thing in CA is that you can't buy liquor between 2-6am. Right, of course, bars stop serving at 2, but you also can't get it in an after hours bar, nor in a grocery store. They rope off that section for four hours. Not too big of a deal, unless you are an insomniac lush like my friend.

Yeah, this is a funny area. I really, really regret moving here in some ways. But then there are some real high points to it, too.

I love xanax I just get used to it too much and then when I run out it's even harder to sleep and defeats the whole purpose. I stick with MJ now.But mostly I just let my energy run itself out, and try to logically tell myself that eventually I will go to bed. This doesnt really work when I have a regular 9-5er or somethign like that, but when Im just fucking around for a while it works great. I hate clocks. My favorite times are when days blend into weeks into months and you can lose track of time completely

xanex makes me sicker than a dog when I withdraw. Clonapin and celexa during the day work for me. Thorozine I like. Phenothiazines and me always go together. I take a whole pharmacy of them.

xanax has always been a good way to pass right out for me, though my problem is I'm entirely unable to fight the urge to complement it with a little sauce, and the following morning doesn't work out so well.

therefore when insomnia sets in, I break out the stash. pch collective is 50 steps away! god bless california.

We can help with those urges you are unable (i.e. powerless) to fight.

Sounds like you need a vacation from that decadent state you're in....
