HLA has many of their employees go through a training called TACT that teaches proper physical restraint techniques. Much of the training is focused on how to avoid getting into a restraint through talking. TACT does teach proper holds that are designed to keep the child and the staff safe. If there were a situation that required a restraint (which was rare) one of the people that were trained in TACT prodeedures would be called in.

Restraints are to only be used if the child is hurting themselves or someone else.
