Seeking An Uninvested Third Party Review of KHK/Pathways
« on: September 04, 2006, 03:27:16 PM »
Thanks for all comments regarding what I wrote about Mel Riddile. I can't find where that post is, but I just wanted to say that kind of thing comes out of deep emotion and I was unfortunately too emotional to deal well when it got deleted the first time. I was sick at the time with a bad flu and stuff and it was such a slap in the face to once again try to say something and get silenced for it. It was making me real sick. I can't concentrate on it that much. I was puking and stuff.

Look, this has gone too far. I want a referendum or whatever you call that political thing, maybe a special bill. I want to get together with some people to create a plan to request formally or somehow get it passed as a special bill in Ohio that KHK has to get investigated by an uninvested third party committee of child mental health professionals assisted by cult and thought reform experts. We cannot trust the politicians, the governor of Ohio is in on KHK/STRAIGHT.

I think it would be significant if Straight, Inc. survivors were to mutually sign a letter expressing that we know what happened to us in Straight, we know about KHK, it was started by Straight people, it is in the same building Straight was in, it operates the same way, we know all the health effects, we have a growing list of suicides of Straight survivors, and we are calling this a crisis situation.

I have heard of two new suicides of Straight survivors in the past two years. ISAC's list of program related deaths is tragic, and it isn't over yet.

The cult expert angle is a good one. Straight was investigated by researchers, by invitation, which gave us the most damning report the program had ever seen, the Beyerstein Report on Straight. But where to start with KHK/PFC? Who are the best cult researchers out there now? And could they do anything without an invitation?

How about Rick Ross....I just saw him on Fox News this weekend lending his expertise on cults....he also has a page devoted to Straight.....

:-?  it's a tough sell to make professionals care enough to donate their time for free. Given the scope of support crowd vs the scope of opposition to the pfc/khk/safe/gt crowd, it is only getting tougher and tougher every day. Last but not least, a significant angle might be found with that $65,000 price tag they have now. There's documents out there showing straight inc treatment at $3,000. It's the SAME treatment, there's no way it's worth anywhere near $65,000 today. That's way overcharging and it can be proven.

I don't know about that.  65k is a pretty good income for being able to abuse the shit out of kids.

hey, but what about inflation?  3k in the 90's equals about 65k today.

What got deleted? I think we lost a little bit of content due to fuckups during and just after the transition. But we didn't intentionally delete anything but blatant spam.

Please give me some clues so I can try and dig it up for you.

Check this link for inflation average for last 25 years...

http://www.hussmanfunds.com/rsi/fedcredib.htm

At an avg of 4% per year, that $3000 should be about $6,000 now. Based on increases of $120/yr for 25 years. This doesn't explain why the fee was $21 or so grand in 2005 and it went up to $65K in 2006. That's more like 300% or so, and should be questioned by the attorney general or bbb or someone like that. Sure, parents buy it, but, that doesn't make it right. Are they recouping losses they sustained after the negative TV reports?
