Krystal is 20 and from Connecticut. She attended Elan. Well, in New Jersey she watched her boyfriend Draymond (also her pimp and baby's daddy) sodomize, rape and strangle a pretty young girl to death. Then she helped him stuff her body in a suitcase and dump it in NYC.
She met prince charming through a friend at Elan.
Elan is touted as a pricey boarding school for out of control youth.
The article is in yesterdays and todays New York Post/ Daily News.
Kristen is a nice looking young girl. To bad she ended up a drug addicted prosti.
Now her life is over much like the girls she watched die!
Jennifer was the victims name.
Did any of you know this girl? Kristen.
What was her deal in Elan? Did she do well? Graduate?
Now Elan is back in the news again. Maybe the negative publicity will make parents think twice before sending their kids there.

Hi Elan folk...

I've spoken with some of you in the past at conferences and for my book, Help At Any Cost.

Unfortunaely, I didn't get to cover the Elan story in any depth there-- but would still like to write more about it.  If you have been there recently-- especially if you know Krystal or the person who introduced her to her boyfriend who got her involved with this killing-- I would love to hear from you at the email below as soon as possible.

Infantile rants? Well i guess that makes you an infantile reader right? Since you decipher my so called "rants" as infantile.

Perhaps if you can learn to speak when spoken too, I dont recall addressing you Mr. Mystery Guest.

I didnt see in the article posted where Elan's name is in it. So the guy leaves Elan and killed your friend? No doubt the "stars" at Elan knew what a dangerous individual this person was. They just took the monies that they could and gave him a big speech about life.Then sent him on his way.
Seems about the speed of Elan.
Certainly more than one meaning to "organized crime"

My son called yesterday to tell me about this. She (Crystal) only lived 15 minutes from our town. I don't think he knew that until he read it in the paper .  
I am in Oregon for the week so I haven't had the chance to read the article.
He said he knew her from elan, not all that well (opposite sex), but she seemed like a nice girl. Not anyone who you would think could do something like that.
Drugs SUCK!  :evil:  The root of all evil.  She probably would have done alright is she kept her head clear.

The Elan One sign was pictured in the New York Daily news on Saturday.
The article briefly mentioned Elan, how Krystal went there, how Skakel went there, it was a "pricey" boarding school for out of control teenaged behavior, Elan "does not promise miracles but they will try" was the quote mentioned in the article. I am paraphrasing that BTW.
Amazing how quickly they found out about Elan is it not?
It seems as if any publicity is good enough for Elan.
When will we ever see Elan and one of its students mentioned in a posotive light?
When my husband said "Isn't that the school you went to?"
I was like "Yes that's it" he said "Boy that place produces royalty huh?" Obviously being sarcastic.
I did stick up for the people who did not turn out to be freaks.

Krystal was and always will be nothing.  She was so nasty in the dorms, finding her crusted junk under her bed.  Her bedbox was filthy and filled with so much accumulated dust.  Not to mention she always looked like a blob walking on two legs everytime I saw her.  Dumb girl chose her path.

Its a shame. I guess all them drugs made her fucked. Skinny and fucked in the head. I did drugs and I could never watch anyone rape, strangle, sodomize a innocent vulnerable young girl. Christ you got to be one screwed up bitch to have no freakin conscience!

She sure as hell never hit skinny.  Elan 15 pounds, maybe even 50 pounds, never left her frame.
