Scott,
When I first came here last summer, I was told that Glen Steepleton (Springfield) had also committed suicide.

I was in Springfield from Oct. 86 - Mar. 88. Glenn was on 4th and 5th phase and staff for awhile when I was there. So I imagine that he was a contemporary of yours at Sprinfield

I have heard of more deaths, but no confirmations. Does anyone know the whereabouts of a Paul Tudor? He was in with me, and I was told he went out in a "blaze of glory, although I can find no news sources or other.
I was told while locked up in Beaumont Learning Center that a few from straight were in there, i talked to one person at the gym once, but I cannot place who it was now. BTW, beaumont was great compared to straight! I had such a shitty time as a teen, I smile about my memories of my accomplishments there, because they were the best I had for a long time!
Does anyone remember any of the many sexual assaults that went unreported? Any names or approximate dates? These would be helpful to send to Wes Fager if you can. I saw that Arnie L. and Bob C., both staff members when one rape happened that I know of, have been at the old message board. I'm sure they remember a lot of coverups that group never heard about, yet the post I read they sounded pro-straight.

Hey Guys,

I've been gone for a while major computer crash. I was in Va 85-86, if you jog my memory Scott I know I will remember you, I remember when Lisa was put on staff trainee, I am sorry to hear of her passing, Didn't she marry another 7-stepper.
Chris I remember you! I don't know if you guys remeber me or not I tried to stay under the radar as much as possible. not that that worked very well, My name was Dianna Layman (got married it will be 15 years the 14th) and I had only drank 3 beers when my parents put me in. So you can imagine how many times I got confronted. I remember one time I was really getting the you are so fos get honest crap, during one of Don Peirsons raps he was just standing people up left and right to blow me away and Chris S  stood up and did not yell at all you tried to relate nicely to me Don sat you don real quick.  It stands out in my mind because it only happened twice once with chris and once with Tracy Anderson.
Oh and if any one knows where Don Peirson is I am not a violent person but I owe his ass a big old kickin!
I do not know if any one remembers this but when I was put in it was on a 28 day assesment (I guess my parents needed 28 days of brainwashing to really commit) and my first 28 days i earned nothing. but day 28 fell on a Friday so i put in for home and in homes I told them to Fuck off I do not have a drug problem my 28 days are up I am out of here.  That night Don P was reading the books and called my name and said your going home, I had about 30 seconds of bliss then he got right up in my face and said no your not your parents signed you in for good and you earn nothing. I got blasted then during books and had hell to pay in review!

Chris,
Do you have a way to verify about Lisa?
Hay Diane, I don't remember you yet, but I just wanted to say, Don Pierson should not have been in there IMHO. He was a misbehaver on 1st phase for a long time, and some of the things that went on, I won't even say on the board. He may have been turned into a criminal by straight, but when he entered straight, he was a victim like everyone else. Anyone who remembers Don's first phase knows this to be true! I personally am guilty for assaulting him physically on many occaisions, I was often sat beside newcomers because everyone knew I would "hit back". Staff seemed to love a good fight! Matter of fact, so did most of the group!
I knew that if someone was misbehaving, staff might not notice I was tired that day! Plus confronting kept me awake!?
Anyway, I feel the same about a few people, but inside I know that I cannot heal from the wounds simply by kicking everyone's ass! I've attempted that method, it really does not work! I used to talk about Bruce Lee all the time in group because I love to fight, so I really know how you feel!
I took a lot of shit being there, but i gave a lot as well. Just the fact that I was an oldcomer, dragging people around by the back of their pants, shows that straight got to me. There is no sanity to such methods as that and motivating, or spitting in anyones face.

I was an oldcomer in his home an one point. (His step-mom was smokin'! She was YOUNG!) So I helped teach you that Priest tune, eh? Who else was there? I don't remember Dean giving me shit about punk music, but I don't doubt it! Pray, do tell... "

I lived with Inga for a long time we used to go to tons of shows in DC.  Is this ALEX LANE?  If so, this Mike Salvini:)

Dean kicked me out of the 7th Step Society for going to punkrock shows in DC:)
