It looks to me as though at least 2 threads have been deleted since yesterday that had nothing to do with spam.  The one was a real long auto-biographical post by Sammiegirl, although she was not logged in under her username.  The other contained a parody of Stillahippie, as stillastraightling...

The stillastraightling post may have been a little harsh on our friend Hip, but I don't think it should have been deleted.  It was actually pretty damn funny and the author of it made some very good points through their humor.

What is the reasoning behind the deletion of these threads ??

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

There was a database mishap. For a short while, everything that hadn't had a response in 200 days or more went missing. TechJockey restored all the old stuff, but had to overwrite the database to do it. I thought we were getting yesterday's posts back. Maybe he hasn't had time. I'm trying not to bug him. He's busier than a one legged man at an asskickin' contest just getting the server all outfitted for business.

I'll find those posts, though. The one from Sammie is still there, just that the bump post is gone now. I read it all at a sitting yesterday. Made me cry. I don't know if there's any one story in there that I hadn't heard before, but I never did put the whole thing together till then. Sammie's one amazing woman.

Sorry Guys.  I had a "brilliant" idea to remove all the old spam that went haywire.  My fault.  Throw all the eggs at me.

We only lost about 6 hours of posts, but I sincerely wish we didn't lose any.
