I didn't really read your rubbish reply

Of course you didnt!!!  This is how many people form their opinions here.  This has been my point all along(or one of them).  You look at a web site or read a post about a kid who was punished by a staff member and you make up your mind about the entire industry..... why should any of us expect you to start basing your opinions on current information or expect you to read now?  It is obvious when you say "all programs are abusive", "all staff members are evil" that you know nothing about the industry or programs/staff you are talking about.

@who: I didn't read that either because I didn't see the names of any programs.  Grow a set and name some flagships of your industry.  you claim to be just a parent so what's the problem?

Is ASR the benchmark (snicker) for good programs?  Quit being so vague and take a stand.  You're an admitted liar:  are you a pussy as well?

Don't be a pussy.

He read it. He's just very selective with what he chooses to answer.  Suggestion: try repeating your demand that he answer until he actually does.  He doesn't like others noting his reluctance to answer certain questions.

I believe him... he didnt read it.  The evidence points away from most people here (with similar beliefs) having an informed opinion.  When people state that all programs are bad it is a tip off that they have an agenda.  We all know this... "All Blacks are alike!!"....."All Jews are greedy!!"....."All Irish people are Drunks"  etc. we know there is no truth behind it, how could there be?  The statement that all programs are the same typically comes from people who attended 1 program and had a hard time with one staff member.  Its apparent new readers after a few minutes here.
When I start reading opinions that are informed and discussions about specific programs which are good and ones which are not so good then I will join that discussion on specific programs.  But until that time I will continue to contribute to the discussion the way I have been.

Wrong. One of the staff had an expired license because they had gone from one level in the profession to another. So of course they would allow their old license to expire when they moved up to a new level and picked up a new one.
In the other case the doctor had transferred from another state so his old license (in the previous state) expired but he was re licensed in the new state.
Its easy to make someone look bad if you just post a link to their old expired license. Its a cheap shot to do to someone especially if you don’t even know them.

Wrong. The woman in question had no license. Again just because Deb is here shoudlnt be an excuse to lie about it.

Quote
You don’t feel sorry for “anyone”. You will drag anyone through the mud who is even associated with a program because you have lost all sense of right and wrong or compassion for others. If someone hires a graduate student to work with the kids and you feel they should have their masters degree why is that their fault? What gives you the right to ridicule this kid and post pictures and comments for their family to view on the internet? It is wrong, but you have lost this sense over the years. Is it wrong that this student tries to get a job in a field they love and work with kids and pursue the career they enjoy?

Oh but Cindy, it wasnt so long ago you paraded around on here claiming that I was bi sexual. You lied and claimed I had stated as such, but in fact an HLA staffer made the comment to you. The fact that it wasnt true makes no difference. Why would you admonish others for criticizing staffers for being unqualified yet relish the idea of believing youre outing someone who disagrees with you on here? Thats preety backwards logic.

Quote
You may be right. If I was a program supporter I would have a few key programs to throw out as gems to represent the industry. But as I have said for years I am not a program supporter, just a parent who is here to help get the right message out.

Propoganda is never the right message Cindy. You have nothing to say because every program youve ever supported has been exposed. Yet youre still unwilling to admit youre wrong.

Quote
You take the “used car salesman” approach and allow one side of the story to be told. You don’t offer up any positive information as it comes out. If someone happens to mention positive facts about a program you down play them. You don’t have control over what individuals post, but each person has control over themselves.

What positive facts? Produce some and we can discuss them. In the meantime see if you can add some balance and perspective to the HLA board, or ST.

Quote
If a child gets hurt fornits turns into a lynch mob and even if it goes to jury if the results don’t come out the way you like you still accuse the people who were acquitted and brand them abusers.

Cite specific cases. Cases where the incident wasnt swept under the rug, all the facts came to light and the person was still aquited. See what you can come up with.

Quote
I don’t mock the forum, but I may mock some of the people who post here in retaliation which is mild compared to what gets thrown at me and mild compared to what I see being done to staff people who many have never even met. If you took some time to meet some of these people face to face and understand what drives them and what makes them tick you would never try to discredit them or embarrass them in front of their families the way it is done here. You place an ugly mask on program staff so you don’t have to look at their faces while you ridicule and accuse them of being abusers. You get so caught up in it that you don’t even realize you are being abusive yourselves.

Idiot we do know these people thats the point. We had to deal with them day in and day out. We know exactly the kinds of people they are because we had to suffer abuse at the hands of them. You mock survivors stories and belittle people talking about how they were abused. None of those people have attacked you and you havent suffered as they have. You say you do this in retaliation. Aside from the fact that you do it to the wrong people (because you arent capable of handling those of us who embarrass you so often) whats to say we arent just retailiating against those who abused us?

Quote
If you were so above board you would try to base some of your believes on facts and statistics instead of repeating the same 10 children’s names over and over again. You reject numbers as cherry picked or suspect if the results are not what you want them to be.

No we reject your bull shit numbers. As proven time and time again including last night, your tired numbers have no bearing whatsoever. Many many more than ten kids have been killed in the PTS. It is you who refuses to accept numbers if the results are not what you want them to be.

Ad hominem or not, you still didn't answer the question:  If there are good programs out there, name one!

Keep on em, boys (and girls).

Funny thing is that I can think of a really easy way for the who to answer the question without answering it and get out of this, but I'm not telling (good thing i'm not a propogandist)... :D  least not until he answers.

Cut the doublespeak and name a damned program.  Don't claim you already did, either (because you didn't).  You claim they exist.  It should be very simple.  You say "I know of a good program and it's name is _______________".  Can you do that, whooter, or is it beyond your considerable abilities?

sigh...Bring on the trolls, I guess.  Some one cut RobertBruce lose again (let DJ know so he can reel him in to be fed and rehydrated once in awhile) and a few of the regulars.  They can take turns derailing every every thread I am on and then you can try to bag me for flooding or advertising (what ever it was, I forget).

The new readers may find it more informative to discuss issues pertaining to programs, though.  But your the admin here.
