Well I do yes...But if you reread the post you will see that I was indicating that niles has never attended a program nor had a family member attend one.  His knowledge is strictly limited to what he has learned here on fornits which is heavily biased and not well balanced information.  As for myself (since you seem interested).....  I have had a family member attend 2 programs and have been involved with them myself as well as what I have learned here on fornits.... how about yourself?

And like you said you had a family member (your daughter not you) who was in a program, so your opinions and daydream dementia mean nothing as you don't have first hand experience being in a program.

Yes but you see I had to support a family.  You had all your meals cooked for you, paid for, someone to clean up after you.  You didn’t have to pay for electricity or heating bills, meals.  You didn’t have to worry about (or be responsible for) anyone else except yourself (and may still not have to today).

So to recap, I have knowledge of the inside of the program and from the outside of the program for a TBS and for Wilderness which allows me to see the larger picture.  I also have the knowledge of reading peoples accounts here on fornits for a few years.
So I do see that you have plenty to contribute here, Botched,  but you have limited knowledge (from only one perspective).

Why are you so opposed to parents seeking information about the schools?  Why does everyone insist that they have all the answers and they don’t need to look any further?  These are kids we are all talking about... before any parent makes any decision about their future they should talk to as many people, professionals  and check as many sources as possible (including fornits).. Speak to the parents....students... former students.... staff...tour the facility and speak to kids at random...don’t leave anyone out.  But you can’t expect any parent to realistically come here and make a decision based on anonymous posters (myself included).
