To us a "program" is a place that uses isolation and coersion. You say "Its a TBS and it just educates and shows a better way"...

Yet, we are talking about the same places. You are merely ASSERTING these places are good, unabusive and effective, and thats bullshit.

Don't bother.

He tried to spin "isolation" as a good thing by comparing it to the witness protection program.

Now that is funny!!  Did I really?  If you have that link, I would love to reread it.  I do remember the intense isolation debate about a year ago... but not that specific comparison.

I already told you not only did he do that he tried to say its a good thing in all cases because a witness protection program is "isolation", and good, thus isolation is good

Thats funny.  I remember at the time it was bugging you that ASR didnt have any fences and the kids could just walk away if they wanted and were not kept against their will.  If they ran away more than once they were kicked out of the school so they could always get out if they wanted.
This frustrated the crap out of you and You kept insisting that they must have mental fences which kept the kids from running or some sort of bs but it was a stretch.  I think that debate went on for days

Fences where?

That has nothing to do with what I was talking about, but this nice little ret-con of yours for the sake of an arguement is cute.

But it ain't working.

At ASR.  There are schools that have fences around them to keep kids from running (actually my highschool had a fence around it).  But ASR doesnt.  The kids can leave anytime they want to there is no isolation or coercion.  Its a TBS, not a boot camp.

I meant IN THAT DISCUSSION, Who.

Why are you turning this into fences at ASR? It was never around that, it is if you approve of the methods programs use to 'treat' children in their care!

Look back at your post.  You were recalling a funny story about isolation and I remembered one where we argued about fences.  Why does that upset you?  If you want to drop the fences we can move on......

 THIS IS FUCKING RICH.

It was never about fences. This thread, right now, is about you and if you approve of isolation and coersion in programs, not whether or not a fence around ASR means it isolates people within it or not.

I do LOVE how you turn this around and attack me about fences. Nobody cares but you.

YES, please do drop the fences and move on, Who, please.

So then every kid wants to and completely agrees to be there with no pressure from an 'intake' or 'exit plan'?  What would happen if they said they'd had enough and were leaving?

Who, I'm just curious. Can you back up a single claim you have made on here in the past week?

Why do you feel attacked?  I wasnt attacking or turning anything around... Relax.  At the time it was implied that fences isolated the kids and I responded by saying there were no fences at ASR.  As far as isolation and Coersion.  I have never supported this.
Now cut back on the caffeine, you are not the only one looking for answers or choses the topic.
