Oh yeah, Spam, that's what this was about. As to why I don't sit here 24/7 waiting for spam to delete, my life has been one shit storm after another. Just lately, I've taken a step back from this and other things. I've had my head out of programing for so long now I haven't even kept up on the latest and greatest in spamming, spamdexing, data mining and all the rest. I hate spammers! God, but do I hate fucking low life, energy sucking, intrusive, pervasive, annoying and persistant spammers!

You interrupt me from a frienly conversation
To tell me how great it's all gonna be

So, I sent up a flair for someone to help. Some sucker (uh... I mean kind hearted, talented and conciencous soul :wink: has answered the call. So, probably tomorrow night I'll take down the site and let the dude upgrade to the latest stable phpbb. Depending on how much time I have, I'll decorate it. Depending on how nice you are to the dude, he may even entertain the notion of adding back functionality that may not have made the trip.

Meanwhile, I have to tune up a car and get a few other things done before a road trip. Wish me luck!

Yeah, it should filter out some of the spam. Unless, of course, DF is right about the spam being inauthentically simulated communication. If that's the case, well at least we get a nifty new software upgrade. That'll give us yards and yards of silly shit to fight over cause we done told each other every last dadburned thing any of us ever knew to begin with.
