I did a google search for kicks and found this site. It brings back some good memories.
My name is Seth. No need to be anonymous. I came into the Seed at the Tropical Racetrack in Dade county in June 1973. I was ordered by the Dade courts. I was a pretty serious fuck up.
I stayed around for many years after completing my program. I sang at the Rose Bowl & at the Mall, saw the talent shows, was a Trucker, went to the beach and the whole nine yards.
I'll have to say that I read JU's post and that I share many of John Underwoods opinions. I remember JU very well and some of the great times we had cooking steak and mushrooms.
Personally my memories are good ones... and you wont hear me saying anything bad about the folks at the Seed. It all worked out good for me.
I hope that this doesn't disallow me from posting here . Im sure Ill get "corrected" but oooh well.
Many of the names that I have seen mentioned here are familliar to me and bring a smile to my face. Someone mentioned John Murphy with broken legs.... I remember him and what a nice guy he was. And I think I know who Wally Gator is too. I remember Maggie and Nona and so many other good folks.
Im doing pretty good these days, still living in the same area. I dont feel like a survivor or scarred or anything dramatic like that.
I worked for a large company for a bunch of years as an appliance repairman but recently switched jobs when they froze our pension and started getting cheep assed. I've done pretty OK I guess in the long run.
Dantari225@hotmail.com Feel free to drop an email so long as you don't want to go on about how bad the Seed was. No offence but theres plenty opportunity for that on these boards if thats your gig.
Best of luck to you all, and thanks Greg for hosting the boards.
