As some of you may know, Cody was a severally abused 14 year old when after an attempted rape by his parents, he opened fire on them and his sister (an innocent victim who was taught to spy and tattle on Cody for $$$ in order to please her abusive parents).
The judge in this case has the option to sentence Cody as a juvenile or an adult. If he sentences him as an adult, he will be in ADULT prison for 47 years.
No one stepped in the stop the abuse in Cody's 14 years. Reports to CPS went ignored. He was choked, whipped with a lariat, had a hay hook stuck in his hand and balls, made to kill his puppy, burned with a welding rod, etc.
His step mother tried to force him to have sex with her with his father watching.
Please join the crusade to save Cody from more abuse, this time at the hands of ADULT prisoners.
He did wrong and should be punished, but as a JUVENILE not an adult. That's all we are asking for Cody.
The prosecutor mocked the years of abuse and called it TOUGHLOVE. IMO, she scared the jurors into believing they needed to punish Cody for the ultimate show of disrepect to his "strict" but loving parents.
What parent tortures their child? His father disowned him and then when Cody's mom was killed he took Cody back who shortly started getting $600.00 a month SS death benefit. All that money went to his father who was a struggling ranchhand.
It's disgusting this kid is being thrown away for defending himself. The jurors were scared. They are cowards.
