Georgia Tent and Awning?

Who is Coverdell?
In 1978, while vacationing in Maine, he looked up the address of George Bush in a phone book, went to his home, knocked on the door and introduced himself when the future president answered. The two became close friends and throughout the next fourteen years Bush would turn to Coverdell for help on a number of occasions. It was Bush who appointed Coverdell to head the Peace Corps, giving him national recognition for his role as leader during the revitalization of this program.

He considered "educational IRA's," which allowed parents to save money to pay for a child's education, an important victory. He took strong pro-law enforcement and anti-drug stances.

In September 1991, Coverdell resigned as director of the Peace Corps to pursue a Republican seat in the United States Senate. President Bush showed his support for Coverdell, and Barbara Bush campaigned for him during the senate race.

As a United States Senator, Coverdell supported the war against drugs and violence and worked to ensure a good education for all children. He sponsored efforts to allow parents to create special tax fee savings accounts for their children's educational future.  In June 1997 President Clinton signed into law Coverdell's Volunteer Protection Act, a law that protects volunteers, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities from lawsuits when they are involved in charitable and non-profit activities. Coverdell also worked hard to combat problems concerning drugs in the state of Georgia and worked to impose stiffer penalties for drug smugglers and dealers. Coverdell served on the subcommittee for Foreign Relations and has worked in Georgia to initiate Operation Drug-Free Georgia.

I met Paul Coverdell at a business function for the school many years ago. He has since passed away.

Sorry, I don't feel like it right now Robert. Maybe later when I have more time to figure out just how many of those questions you posted and where they are. I believe the number of questions had reached over 50 by now. I don't have that much free time on my hands so I guess you will just have to wait.

How interesting! While Buccellato was dropping in on former president Büsh, another of Coverdell's big contributors was setting up another Synanon based program in Florida.

Here's the Dish On That

Ya'll know why they split the contributions among different family members and businesses, do you?

It wasnt Buccellato that dropped in on Bush, it was Paul Coverdell.

You know what Robert? On second thought, I don't think I am going to answer any of your questions, and you want to know why? Because no matter how I answer them, you will tear it apart, call me a liar, and have your little fun at my expense. So, go bother someone else for a change and leave me out of it. My answering questions is going to do absolutely no good except to give you some sort of sick satisfaction by tearing my statements apart.

I also think that, from a PR standpoint or marketing standpoint, the lack of answers leads the reader to assume that the person being asked repeatedly is trying to avoid giving what will be either false or damaging answers.

I believe this avoidance tarnishes the "shine" of the program option and leads the reader to conclude that there is something to hide.  Whether there is or is not in this paticular case (I happen to believe there is a LOT to hide here, from improper licensing to the failure of the BM program), it has been shown countless times that the vast majority of programs do indeed have much to hide and HLA by extension appears that way as well.

Hmmmmm...because youre to stupid and weak to answer them, not to mention afraid of what they might expose.

Well the truth is you are a liar, and yes I do have fun at your expense. However that is not the issue, the fact remains that you made a series of stupid and ridiculus comments that you know you cant back up. If you wont answer the questions than why did you make the stupid comments to begin with?

If you would just stop lying about things, and trying to portray this image of yourself as a person who was involved in HLA and knew anything about what was going on there wouldnt be a problem.

Now stop being such a baby and get to it.

Robert since when did you get the impression you could boss me around? I dont feel like answering your multitude of questions because I dont FEEL LIKE IT. I am not afraid, lying, cowering, stupid, or any other crap you decide to make up. I dont feel like answering any of your questions because the ONLY reason you want me to is so you can make fun of my answers and tear them down. No thank you. Another reason is I dont have the time to sit down and answer over 50 questions just so you can do that to me. Whats the point really? You wont like how I answer them anyway. Why dont you just accept that and move on already? Just call me some more names and move on to another target. Enough is enough. Its getting old.
