On one hand, I hate to admit I like this really a lot, but on the other, maybe I don't really care if people think I'm a "teenybopper"... LOL   Man, the dude on the bass is on time every time. I think some more guitar would be better, but, then again, I ain't no rock star, LOL.

JARS by Chevelle...

HAPPY 4th of July everyone   :rasta:  :rasta:  :rasta:  :rasta:
Meh.  My old boss liked Chevelle.  I'm not much of a fan.  Think it's overrated.  In a few years, they'll be forgotten and *nobody* will listen to them.  It's the sort of music you listen to a few times, get sick of, drag to the trash bin, and hit "empty".  It doesn't grow on you like good music does.

The Tomahawk CD is pretty much faux ethnomusicology (sorta like the Residents did with Eskimo).  It's really  good, trippier than some of their other stuff I've heard.

Teenage Jesus and The Jerks was an old band that Lydia Lunch was in.  It's loud, noisy, and abrasive.  I like it.  I got it on one side of a two record retrospective of Lydia Lunch, Hysterie.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

I borrowed this LP from someone years ago when i was working at the old "OK Corral" (OK Natural Foods) down on Preston St...I ended up taping a couple of the tracks from it before returning it to the guy who lent it to me...still have that tape!
