If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

Finally heard the Melvins.

My old blind friend has good taste in music.  The power was out from the remnants of Ike.  Trippy.

The wind gusted up to 70.  If you went out side you risked bein crushed by falling timber, or what-not.

He can see a little bit, but is legally blind, so he can't drive or nothin.  He was born pre-mature back in the day and they gave him an overdose of oxygen which injured his optic nerve.  Anyway,

then he put on Clutch, who I don't like as much, but who none the less impressed me some.

There wasn't any rain , really, but it was dark and windy!  He had these battery powered lights, the kind you've seen advertised on tv on the kitchen counter and the like.  The Steelers game was knocked out.  Waves on lake Erie were 5-8'!  I thought about grabbin my board, when I heard that, but maybe not!  Those of us who could listened to the game in the dark on battery powered radio.  Lot 'a' folk's' power is still out and will be for a few more days.  I got power here though.

Grateful Dead_"I Need a Miracle"(dve 102.5fm)

The radio is rockin today because so many people are dependent on it for information and morale!  You know the fiercest wind in 50 years blew through here night before last.

People are callin in and sayin they're alone without power except for their battery powered radios.  Can I hear some AC/DC ??

"Stiff Upper Lip"(dve)

Dry Cry(A reggae mix brought to me by a travellin friend.  About 22 songs by various artists, mostly Jamaican, I think.  though from what I understand, this disc was on the jukebox in some other part of the Carribean.)  Dry Cry. Reggae Culture Mix.

Interesting little story with this particular disc.  When my friend gave it to me he failed to provide a case for the disc, which was all labeled and designed an' all  Some music he'd heard in some place far away...so I slipped it into my library book, there between the pages and drove home.  Some time later I wanted to listen to it but couldn't find it.  Months went by...Still no Dry-Cry. 6 months on I remembered...I put it in the library book!  I drove down to our public library and went to the section where I thought it was and pulled the book.  Opened it up and there was my cd.  I took it home and played it through of course.

Doesn't say much for the readership here in my poor town, and I lose cds all the time, even ones with cases, not sure if this would 'a' happened with a record though...

Last of the Mohicans is a great movie, too. Last time I saw that, though, I was distracted by a fellow movie goer. I'll have to see it in its entirety again.
