Hey, RTP.  It goes wobbly these days.  How's it been?  Ya got a dirty dog?  I got one with crypt-breath.  No amount of breath busters can fix the hound's mouth stank.

The Stones version was on Metamorphosis, I had it on 8-track when I was a teen and wore it out while "working" in the garage.  I'm sure my parents knew I was out there getting high and listening to "Jiving Sister Fanny", since I know fuck-all and a bit of nothing about tools, vehicles or wood working projects

Helios Creed is a Rock and Roll name...Iggy Pop, Cheetah Chrome, and especially Crocus Behemoth, are Rock names...Mark Hoppus sounds like a pizza delivery boy...put a picture of Hoppus next to one of Sid Vicious and ask yourself which one is the Punk bass player.

Terry Reid - Silver White Light, Live at the Isle of Wight, 1970

Frank Zappa - Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar Some More

Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart - An Evening With FZ and the Captain, 1975 - Radio session/bootleg

The Spades - Hit 'n Run

Neil Young - El Dorado

Big Star - What's Going Ahn - Demos, rarities.  Shit, look at this track list:

1. Feel (rough mix with alternate guitar track)
2. Ballad Of El Goodo (alternate mix)
3. In The Street (rough mix with alternate guitar track)
4. Thirteen (alternate mix)
5. Don't Lie To Me (rough mix)
6. When My Baby's Beside Me (alternate mix)
7. My Life Is Right (alternate mix with intro)
8. Give Me Another Chance (rough mix with alternate lead guitar)
9. There Was A Life (demo with Chilton vocals)
10. I Got Kinda Lost (demo)
11. Motel Blues (demo)
12. Gone With the Light (demo)
13. O My Soul (rough mix with alternate vocals)
14. Mod Lang (rough mix with alternate vocals)
15. You Get What You Deserve (rough mix)
16. Instrumental
17. Way Out West (rough mix with alternate vocals)
18. Daisy Glaze (instrumental)
19. She's A Mover (alternate take)
20. Morpha Too (rough mix)
21. Holocaust (live)
22. A Little Fishy (live)
23. Ballad Of El Goodo (rough mix with alternate vocal)

Tracks 1-20,23: Recorded at Ardent Studios, Memphis TN 1972-73 (Soundboard)

Awesome stuff, ZenAgent, your taste is, as usual, impeccable.

My favorite Big Star songs are "13" and "Feel".  I also really like an Alex Chilton album called High Priest that came out in the early 90s (I think).  It has a song on it called "Dalai Lama" that is pure gold.......

Is that Spades record The Spades from Austin, TX in the mid-60s?  The one with the wicked shit vocalist?  The band that had the hit "You're Gonna Miss Me"?  Damn!  If so, I'd love to hear it.

Rat Scabies is another good rock and roll name.  So is Richard Hell.  Who the fuck is Mark Hoppus?  I used the stage name "Mark Darms" once (get it? Marked arms......) but somebody told me a DJ in SF went by that so I dropped it.

Nah, this isn't Roky Erickson's first band...These guys are from the Netherlands.  They sound like the Dead Boys.  Check out their names:

Denvis Wankalot, Pit Maypole, Frank Drank, Vee, Rule no. 1
