Watched "The Story of Metal" for 4 hours last night on VH1.  Pretty Cool.  Especially all the footage of the early British scene.  Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.  I liked Di anno better than Dickinson. In fact I only have the first 2 Maiden records, cause thats they're best.

-still a metal-head punk.

Yeah, Silberbart is pretty awesome, and I really like that Groundhogs album, too.   Kinda Cream/Sabbathish stuff, not as pompous as Cream or as freaked out as Sabbath.

Chrisgoes....?  Never heard of them, who are they?

Chrisgoes had a blog where he uploaded his enormous catalog of out of print and obscure psych/prog albums for D/L.  I would never have heard T2's It'll All Work Out In Boomland if it weren't for his generous sharing of his catalog.  The blog's down now.

I can't remember the guitar player's name in Groundhogs...Tony McPhee, I think.  The guy has a unique tone.
