Yeah, you know the story?

I would not let my children go to SW anymore than I would let them sleep in Michael Jackson's bed. I don't care if he was aquitted, it just ain't right.

Oh, there's a link to it in my new sig.

The wretchedness of religion is at once an expression and a protest against real wretchedness. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the feeling of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of unspiritual conditions. It is the opium of the people.
--Karl Marx, German economist and political philosopher

I have found that the best way to give advice to your children is to find out what they want and then advise them to do it

Sounds more like something she'd write about.

The Christian faith from the beginning, is sacrifice: the sacrifice of all freedom, all pride, all self-confidence of spirit; it is at the same time subjection, a self-derision, and self-mutilation.
--Freidrich Nietzsche, German philosopher

Nope, shotgun. Here's a likely one:

Sylvia Plath - poet
1963 --- suicide by inhaling gas from her oven.

The drug war places Leo in a round room and instructs him to piss in a corner.

Nope, tuberculosis

http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/date ... 669789.stm

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
