I think your opinion is pretty close, Anon (way back, tail of last page) But I don't think it's so much embarassment as rampant paranoia.
See, back then, it was the topic of the slander who first asked for it to be removed. When I asked the actual author (who was then posting from a regular old cable access type account, not proxies or campus libraries and stuff) he freaked the fuck out.
I think it's either that he actually is sort of pro program--just can't stand to see a bunch of program screw ups merrily chatting away w/o paranoia or harassment-- or he's extremely paranoid and thinks I'm trying to trick him into confessing.
So now we're getting cryptic demands to delete some more shit, probably more shit that he posted. And I'm supposed to guess or somthing.
Here's the thing, Animals. Sure, I can delete this whole site. It would take me less than half a minute to just drop the entire database and delete the one directory of files that make up these pages. What I can't do, because of imutible constraints of time and my total lack of mind reading ability, is to
decide for you or for anyone else what should stay and what should go.The only reason I blew that shit out was because you finally gave me some manner of permission; "yeah, well, maybe it was somebody who was over here using my puter." Yeah, well, good enough as I guess you'd be liable for that if you look over the fine print of your ISP account.
The other stuff about Cayo's family, that was a mistake. I should have left it up there and let the offended parties decide whether or not to take it seriously. Trouble is, I have a big soft spot in my heart for people who got fucked up by that cult. Especially living in the area that you do, I can't stand (well, can't is a strong word) the idea of you getting cuffed and stuffed and bound by all kinds of 'helping field' legal and social disabilities, all over a stupit pissing contest that you just can't win.
I won't make that mistake again. Promise.
