What about Investigative Reports on A&E?

Well, no, actually they do pay scale. That's not the problem. And some film industry people have come along and tried to get their projects rolling. The trouble is that certain others (who prefer to pretend nobody knows their names so they can whine and bitch when someone slips and calls them by name) get all bent out of shape and actively sabotage any such effort.

Ask Luke Riffle about that.

I never posted this thread with the intention of bringing money into it. The inept troll without a relevant concept started on money. I happen to think that the Straight legacy is perfect for Investigative Reports, and want to know if its producers have ever been approached on the subject. I do not believe that A&E programming is first rate. There is, however, a slightly above average standard of credibility to the network's best shows, although this isn't saying much.

Oh, btw, same thing happened w/ what might have been an excellent documentary about Elan. Same lame assed argument, too. "Don't talk to them! Don't help them! They're trying to make MONEY!!!! Well yeah, no shit Shirlock! These projects take lots of time and money, not to mention a broad array of talent and skill. Even if you could steal enough TVs to bankroll the production, you still have the market as the only practical means of dissemination.

I wonder if Jamie is maybe over his heebee jeebies enough to consider making another run at it. Think I'll hit him up.

Oh, and if he goes through with it, I sincerely hope with all my heart and soul that he makes a million bucks off of it. In adition to whatever he may earn on the merit of his work, he ought to get combat pay too.  :roll:
