Where did you get that idea?

for it is a truth, which the experience of all ages has attested, that the people are commonly most in danger when the means of insuring their rights are in the possession of those of whom they entertain the least suspicion.

Oh you were finished?  Well allow me to retort!! THC destroys brain cells, especially those dealing with short term memory, which is why the "I Just" thread is up to over 290 entries, many of which simply repeat each other.  The more irreverence something is used for, the more it ceases to gain reverence.  Personally, I like pot, I just don't use it because I basically try to deal with reality instead of constantly try to escape it.

See I got baked like a potato one bright and sunny Saturday, then my well meaning sister decided to drop off the niece and nephew.  Talk about harshing someones buzz!  Well anyway, I am playing with the nephew and hear a splash.  My neice had walked into the neighbors yard, climbed the ladder to an above ground pool and fell in.  When I got to her, she was underwater looking up at me and holding her breath.  I was lucky.  After that, pot did'nt hold so much priority in my life.

Inside a warehouse behind Tyrone Mall
we walked in darkness, kept hitting the wall.
I took the time to feel for the door,
I had been \"treated\" but what the hell for?

We won't even get into what the psych meds do to your body and mind.

I don't use pot in order to escape reality, but even if some do why do you think its any different than being on meds?  I use it as a means to relax.

You've either seen one too many PSAs and completely bought into that mentality or you've seen Chapelle's Show.

There is nothing unreal about marijuana or it's effects.  It is a real plant with real psycho-active properties.  The idea that avoidance of reality is somehow inherent in the experience of smoking marijuana is pure propaganda.  Marijuana is simply a tool, like a hammer or a television. It seems to me that it would even be delusional to think that smoking or ingesting marijuana is necessarily an attempt to avoid reality.  Any rational person knows there is no avoiding reality.  The forms may change but the song remains the same.  For the person grounded in reality marijuana is a beautiful thing.  An investigation of reality, of what is real.  Blaming marijuana, or any drug for that matter for an individuals' problems(i.e. avoiding reality) is like blaming a hammer for a poorly constructed building.  The hammer and the ganja and the T.V. are all just tools and the are worth different things in the hands of seekers and shamans and fools. Peace.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

No, marijuana does not destroy brain cells.  In fact, recent research has shown that marijuana use actually increases intelligence and helps the formation of new brain cells.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it, you purveyor and mindless dupe of drug war misinformation.  Mary Jane has also been shown to prevent the formation of cancerous cells in the lung s of smokers.  Plus, smoking pot makes chicks really horny, by telepathy.  If I'm really stoned, they're all over me like a fucking Axe commercial.  Bong out and get you some, Bobby.

The "I Just" thread is as prolific as it is simply because it is the finest thread in the history of this great forum, a testament not only to the joys of smoking weed, taking other drugs, and engaging in intoxicated sexual behavior considered indecent by the standards of Straight, Inc.; the "I just" thread is also a celebration of and flaunting of our freedom to smoke, a sort of "Fuck You!" to the evil and sinister forces, forces whose representatives read these posts, the very fuckwads that started Straight and the Drug War.  Apparently, there are quite a few dedicated tokers who continue to post on that monument to liberty, a thread obviously loved and cherished by Fornits contributors, the "I Just" thread.

And the more pot I smoke, the higher I get!  Actually, Bobby, the reality you experience while stoned on drugs is more "REAL" than your everyday, ordinary waking reality, which is merely the shadow of a mushroom trip I took back in 1986.  Mary Warner and her pals don't help you escape from reality, the help you escape to reality.  I smoke, therefore I AM.

I saw that episode of "Dragnet", too, Bob, and I can assure you, it didn't really happen......  Remember, you ate all those mescaline candies and washed them down with Thorazine and cheap tequila?  You were pretty wasted that night, so I'm not surprised you're confusing a syndicated rerun  of a bad police drama with an actual occurence in your life, I bet you don't remember the goat, the twin lingerie models, or the pool of Guava jelly, either.

You see, Bobby my boy, you fucked up when you stopped taking drugs.  That's when you allowed the illusion you call reality to solidify and crystallize, and that's why you're so upset these days with everybody, and feel so misunderstood.  Start smoking grass again and get back to unblemished perception of reality.

i am meeting someone in one half hour that i was reunited with because of this site and we are going to burn one and  discuss this forum and all the people on it. any thoughts or ideas? so this site has been good for something because it has been pretty dry around these parts.
