"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure."
--Clarence Darrow
I've never met the guy. Never even heard of him till now, that I can remember. And I don't know, or claim to know, if I would agree w/ these folks' assessment. But some people, even though their dead and their family and friends are grieving, actually have it coming. Who are you or I do question that? Did you know him?
Still, even at this point in my life, I remain resolved to pay right just homage to Virgil upon his passing. I'll pour upon his grave a bottle of only the finest Brittish Royal Navy Rhum (Pussers; gross name, astonishingly good rum!), only after first running it through my own system to ensure purity and quality.
RTP2k3 promises to be there too. You're welcome to join us.
Rulers who wish to subvert the public liberty may have found an established clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them not.
