I just graduated in December after about 3 years. Many mixed feelings of resentment looking back on it now. Im just glad I didnt know about all this crazy shit while i was there, would have made it alot harder... Well, shit has definetly changed from what I read here. Of course we got injustices, and had to put up with some garbage that just didnt make sense, but being once of only 3 coordinators for my last 6 or so months was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, and I doubt if I'll ever be faced with such a challenging situation ever again. I played my cards right, I was under 18 the majority of my stay, so I figured, only one way out, ya know? I was in E-3 and Jeff was my phone call contact. I also actually live only 5 min away from him. I think he is a great man, and i cannot believe some of the things i see here. Of course things that happened in the past to some of you guys that are unforgivable, but while i was there all the staff were very caring, and the most neglect i ever recieved was not being able to use the bathroom. And that was because i would be COD getting all the non strength to the bathroom. Your all right about the school system sucking ass, I made high honors and put in no effort, besides being polite to the teachers. Big self esteem boost, until I sat in my first college class at Husson college in Bangor. I went thru my "im signing out" phases, but I never could do it. After all was said and done, I'm glad I stuck it out. I'm sorry to hear about some of the shit you guys had to put up with. Oh yea, you guys will get a kick out of this... I worked at Scarboro Downs as a chef this past summer. (Scarboro downs, formerly owned by Joe Ricci, now by Sharon Terry). That shit sucked... ended up quitting after 3 weeks. Picture the elan 3 main kitchen, except in scarborough instead of poland. Same sysco food too. anyways, I wish you all well, hope to hear from some of you.
