If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

She was truly a remarkable woman. I always admired her courage and righteous defiance the day she refused to give up her seat on the bus.

It was about standing up for humanity. What ever gave her the will to refuse to give up her seat, is the ONE thing Straight took away from us. It could have been just the last straw for a rebellious being, or maybe it was an impermiable will to protect the rights she knew she possessed as a human. Maybe it was the sheer freedom of feeling nature and the understanding of it all. What ever that was, its what Straight suppressed in us all.
Rosa Parks and many other people who had the will to make a stand on humanity are the pioneers of "our cause". Other people who refused to allow any society to treat other humans in a degrading, abusive, often times even Brutal manner/s. I have great respect for these people. Rosa Parks was/is a pioneer of Human Rights and Freedom. The world would be a greater place if we everyone could stand up for humanity.

Rosa Parks impacted the world. I Honor that in her, She was a strong woman who wasn't afraid to stand up for Humanity.

Most all of our public heroes like Rosa Parks are not alone. In fact, they don't really call themselves heroes. Someone like that comes along in a time when that sort of person is needed to make changes in the way our society works or in dangerous situations.

Here is a story to give an example of what I mean:

A man is walking through the rain one day and happens along a riverside. As he is passing nearer to the river he notices that the rain has flooded the river and also that a close bridge has become covered with the flooding. As he tries to cross the bridge he is taken by the water and he cannot help but be swept downstream. As he is flailing for his life, he gets lucky and snags a nearby branch that is in the water. He pulls himself to safety. But as he is pulling himself to dry land he looks back when he hears some yelling from the water. A young family and their baby are caught at the bottom of the same branch that saved his life. Only with all the weight the husband of this family cannot lift his baby and the wife who is almost drowned and passed out. The man who is safe decides to help the family even though he is exhausted to near fainting. Once the family is safe the young man tells the other man that he is a hero and asks how to repay him. The man tells the younger that there is no need and that he himself is no hero, he only did what what should have been done in a time where what was done was needed. The man said thank you and went about his way. End.

This story has a lot of flaws that can be nitpicked I am sure. But you get the picture.

I am sad to see that Rosa has passed on. A figure like that who represents freedom and equality will be missed, but more figures are on the way. More Americans are called on every day to represent freedom and equality.

Rosa was not alone when she was needed either. Rosa was part of several clubs that inspired her and even asked her to do what she did that day. Nevertheless, what she did fulfilled a need. For this perhaps she is a hero. We'll miss you Rosa.

Crackin' a brew right now in Rosa's honor. Hopefully there won't be any of that "back of the bus" bullshit in heaven. Cheers!
