hey withdraw -- whaddya say you do the huntin' and the foragin', & I'll cook fer us...I'm a damned good cook.."

Name the place and time Withdraw...you can forage...anon can cook...and I can carry the supplies and keep the group amused with ghost stories and cop-out stories (I have a few doosies) around the campfire.

We could do the AT or the PCT or hell we could just dissapear into the wild in Alaska for a while...  I could leave this crappy desk job behind...

Winter is coming...so we could always do New Zealand until Alaska warms up....

" (edit *this was to Helena's post )>And nothing you just said had anything to do w/ race.. Thank You. All people were helped regardless of race or class. Those who had phat savings could/did rebuild faster, only because of their previous choices in life.

back to my last point>> I suppose when Ca. falls off into the ocean we should blame the goverment then also. And maybe another ~minority will have the loudest voice then also.

This is a natural occurence, that we will all see in some form eventually.. We each have a chance to make choices based on what history proves.. Nothing is forever. The world is an ever changing living being as are we. Which yes.. if a goverment asks us to believe in them, they must make plans for these disasters.. But we are all people and don't always make the fastest ,best decisions. SO we are faulting the goverment for being human? I am faulting us as a combined enitity who allowed this poor planning to occur in the first place. Not enough of us make a stand.

HA HA HA "all people were helped regardless of race". No they weren't, because if they were helped the help would have come before the hurricane. I suppose all those poor black folks down south have never experienced racism down there that helped create the situation they are in today and oh there's no obstacles that are in place to prevent them from becoming self suffient because after all this is the land of equal opportunity.

Very easy to view how things are supposed to be when your not the one living that life.

am looking for people who survived Straight in Plymouth, Michigan. I miss a lot of people there and wonder what happened and would like to stay in touch.

Before the hurricane? Yep, why didnt these and all people make plans before the hurricane?

Racism is real, I get that.. But it continues because we ALL allow it.. like I said before .. Not ENOUGH people make their stand in a timely matter.. I am guilty of this as well.

If I could get all my words out, you'd see that I agree w/ you on most points.

I think we should rent out an entire hotel though and have raps.

I don't know but maybe we could borrow that many blue chairs from somebody.

I'm game...as long as there are NO RAPS...as soon as I hear the word rap I'm running the other direction.....

What about renting out some cool place with cabins in the middle of the mountains? Just a thought... ::rainbow::
