Exhausted, please stop linking to Caica.  That website is filled with mis-information, and it promotes Sue Scheff PURE, which refers and sells children into abusive programs.

Rebirthing, and attachment therapy generally, is the purest form of predatory infantilism known in the real world.

Fortunately, it was recognized immediately as being depraved, so the practice was even banned in Utah.

I did Google rebirthing, I got aload of stuff about breathing techniques, which is why I asked here after i couldn't find out what it was

I read Ian's story, I had no idea he was autistic. I've got family that's autistic and to imagine them dying in the way Ian did is unbearable. Do you know how his birth mom is doing? are if she has a website setup for him?

Are you talking about Ian August?

I read an essay his birth mother wrote and news articles, but didn't see any mention of autism.  Did I miss something?

No, he didn't have autism. He was on several psychotropic drugs though, for his so-called disorders. These drugs caused him to over-heat with no physical exertion. He wore a portable fan around his neck in his air conditioned school. No one in their right mind would have put this kid on a forced march through the desert in 100* temperature.
Nevertheless, if the staff had followed regulations, Ian would still be alive. He wouldn't have been marching in temperatures that exceeded the maximum, and without water.

I see, in the thread you linked to it mention how the slowest boy in the group had high-functioning autism, I assumed that the "boy" was Ian my mistake .....
