Feeling trapped
« on: July 29, 2005, 03:38:00 PM »
Know that old argument that goes on in your head when you feel trapped, like you are taking a class or something, and for some reason you really don't want to be there anymore, then you start really really wanting to get out and leave but then what about if it's rude or you just don't want to draw attention to yourself or you might get in trouble. But there it is, you want to leave. You really really want to leave. Now are you going to trap yourself, or keep trying to tell yourself you really don't want to leave, or are you going to get the fuck up and LEAVE!

I sincerely enjoy quitting jobs, it's such a relief.

Just kill yourself and you won't have this recurring issue, and no meds with side-effects to bother with. Your life as you knew it is already practically over. So why keep getting upset in a situation or any situation when the real solution is right at your fingertips, eh? No more worrying, no more fretting, no more bullshitting yourself about who you are, what you should do with the rest of your lost life, and all that horsefuck. Just get it over with so you won't have to worry about a new job or quitting one, or a new class and leaving it and losing more money than you already have. Just kill yourself. I can assist you.

Nothing in the way of actually killing yourself is meant by this prior post, and in so killing yourself you fully and knowingly acknowledge that, by killing yourself, you do not hold the postor responsible for your these stated actions. So, what are you waiting for? Aren't you tired of reading disclaimers and wading through the unending fuckshit you have to go through every day, never finding peace of mind?

I know exactly what you mean, but remember that in real life (ie not the shit of the past, or the crap in your head) you can just take your time, think it through and make a choice... decide whether it is something that will go away if you leave briefly for a drink of water or a stroll down the hall, or if you really do have to quietly pack up your things and take the rest of the class off. Having choice is one of the tiny but oh so totally huge things I take full advantage of whenever I can and purely BECAUSE I can. At first I needed to lots because I got that trapped sensation a lot, but then once it was real to me that I can actually leave ANYTHING I want to, when I want to, it got so that I am okay to sit through most things knowing it is not forever... hope this helps, and luck with it.  :em:

It's kind of a social anxiety thing.

Artista: Natalie Imbruglia
Album: Left of the middle
Canción: Leave me alone

I ask you to hold me, but you don´t wanna hold me,
it doesn´t work that way
I want you to love me, but you don´t wanna love me,
I´m losing patience now
oh leave me alone (oh leave me alone)
stop asking for more
I´m goin´ home on my own
oh leave me alone (oh leave me alone)
I´m walking out of the door
I´ll make it on my own

leave me alone
leave me alone
leave me alone
just leave me alone

you like me to stroke you
careful I don´t choke you, did you read my mind
you say don´t be blue
that is the best you can do
I´ve lost my patience now
[chorus]

Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.
