Misdemeanor Charges

What exactly does "Other Misdemeanro" mean?  If it i"child abuse/neglect", why not a felony?

Need a "Legal Eagle" here!!

A misdemeanor is a crime not punishable by more than one year in jail. A misdemeanor is a crime - but not a serious crime. A felony is a crime punishable by more than one year in jail. Usually involves a crime associated with Battery, Assault, Arson, Larceny, Rape, Burglary and other dangerous crimes......

Better stated as "punishable by up to one year in county jail and/or fines not exceeding specified dollar amounts"...........THIS IS A FACT..............GORILLA WILL plead to avoid the county lock up seed.......see, she will plead to fines and probation time...............civil seed sown.....FILTHY, BLOOD SUCKING WHORE knocked of the ASYLUM THRONE ???????AMF

Judge can add conditions too--like certain number of years of no contact with minors!

(3) Any person who inflicts upon a child physical injury or, having the care or custody of such child, causes or permits another to inflict physical injury upon a child is guilty of an offense as follows:

     (a) if done intentionally or knowingly, the offense is a class A misdemeanor;
     (b) if done recklessly, the offense is a class B misdemeanor; or
     (c) if done with criminal negligence, the offense is a class C misdemeanor.

some MISDEMEANORS can be charged or/ lead to felonies...............theft with prior convictions....FELONY charge..........stand by......................ready class????.....PREDICTION ::: dare I say?????............CHERYL SUDWEEKS.......6 months, two years // ETC..ETC.... ???? will get caught or charged with violating the terms of her probation..................these (THIS) EVENTS will have lasting effects for years to come....................THIS IS HUDGE........MARK MY WORDS............AMF

Not necessarily. I don't know about multiple counts, but usually they erase or seal your record if it's your first offense. Say you get charged with misdemeanor assault, you'll do a year of probabtion and counseling classes. If you have a history they'll throw the book at you and give you the year in county jail.
