What you'll need:
Heroin
Water (bottled is best)
Alcohol wipes (optional)
Spoon (although a bottle cap or the bottom of a soda can will work in a pinch)
Cotton filter (end of a q-tip, though a piece of a cigarette filter works nicely)
Flame source
Syringe (1cc ultrafine is my favorite)
Tourniquet (a belt, necktie, or other strap works fine)
How to do it:
Place heroin in spoon. Draw up water into syringe, then add to spoon. Heat the mixture until heroin is melted into water---DO NOT BOIL (this wastes the precious smack)
Place filter in mix (don't use entire q-tip or cigarette filter, a tiny bit is enough. Use just large enough to cover tip of needle.) and draw liquid through filter into syringe.
Use tourniquet to tie off arm above your intended injection spot. Tie off between injection spot and your heart. For example, if you inject in the crook of your elbow, tie off around your upper arm.
Wipe off injection spot with alcohol swab.
Stick needle in vein, drawing back on plunger. You should see blood flow into syringe. This is known as a "register" and indicates that you have successfully entered the vein without peircing through it.
Release tourniquet.
Slowly and steadily press plunger of syringe down, injecting heroin into bloodtream. You may want to "milk it", meaning to draw back a couple of times before you withdraw the needle. Many IV drug users claim this extends the euphoric "rush" of injecting drugs.
Withdraw needle, lay back, and enjoy.......
