no rallying call heard........turd is the word associated with the SUDS....just plain cruel.........broke every rule....based upon trust....she gave in to hate...he to lust.....just can't TRUST.........she still yells GROUP!!!...he arrives...they say to SUPERVISE....CONDITION OF THE COMMISSION I surmise...better food...clean sheets...shoes ON feet....no thumps...no gangland attacks....why won't she let two back????....I suspect more will be seen...reveal the truth....we KNOW they screen.........ritalin still the choice....can't keep to the act.........feel the need to attack............OK...WHERE'S THAT MOTHER FUCKER AMF AT??.........................AMF

Does anyone know if Pure is being held legally accountable for referrig to the Whitmore after having known about the prior allegations of abuse complaints? After having known about the legal issuses from Canda?

I would think Sue Scheff/Pure/Marie Peart would be legally accountable for referring to an abusive school. That they would be responsible for the mistreatment of children attendingthe Whitmore. Fraud, deceit etc. for money?

I know the Teen help marketing persons are in the process of being held accountable for refering to wwasp . Different but the same too.

Well there's really only one thing left to say...I totally believe in the Whitmore, it helped me and the rest of you need to get a life.

Joey didn't conform to Chery's little GROUP THERAPY--so he was removed from the group by her DEMAND and beaten badly on several occasions...stomped, kicked, punched--hurt badly. Once sent to the "bunk room" to exercise, and beat when he stopped, for 3 straight hours.
Once he DARED to call home, was REALLY beaten badly at the boy's house in a cowardly way as Mark and Cheryl looked on...evil, evil, evil. Cheryl "helped Joey down the basement stairs," and laughed like a witch...and then continued her SICK GROUP LEADERSHIP SESSION. Other incidents, too. But this was some highlights of Joey's stay at Whitmore---but Joey endured, and he was brave in the face of torment and evilness of the Sudweeks' brutality.

Personally would like to see this girl pack up, give an honest statement to the authorities, and protect herself a little BEFORE she takes a BIG FALL for something she probably doesn't deserve...and get the hell out of that place. You'd think her OWN MOTHER would help this girl come to this realization.
She can worry about her soul later!

The first day Joey was delivered to Lake Powell and Cheryl Sudweeks wanted to impress on this boy that Whitmore "was going to be the worse year of his life..." a group of boys held Joey face down in the dirt after beating him up. Joey begged for his inhaler,saying he could not breathe...just like the boy in the above newspaper article.
Luckily Joey survived Cheryl's ordered torment!

I can actually clarify on the Lake Powell Joey incident.

Joey had smoked cigarettes in the bathroom and stolen from the store. The Whitmore were almost kicked out of Lake Powell becuase of his actions. This made many of the students, including myself, very angry at this "new kid." Joey was not beaten up... many kids were yelling at him, but not one person touched him. He did not at anytime ask for an inhaler. I know this because I was with Joey for the majority of his time at Lake Powell. I do remember him constantly asking for his pills... more then he was prescribed to take. He was denied extra medication, which seems like a fairly normal action to me.
