They would not let me in....but I did get the Managers name and I will call him this week.  I took a photo of the front and the back...Digital wasn't working so I took them with my camera...pics being developed.

Chris Cherry sounds familiar but I can't picture him....I went in in Feb abnd I think he had already graduated.

I went to the Irving Building, but I am going to go to the Richardson building in the next week or so....I have to go to Walgreens in the next day or so and pick up the pictures  of Irving.  I called the Manager of the company that is in there now, but he has not returned my call yet...

That was one of the things that pissed me off most about Straight.  There were so many times that I was the only girl ready to restrain when people started running for the doors and times when I had my days off, but I stayed in the building 'cause the group was weak.

I saw lots of "good deeds" that went unnoticed because everyone was so quick to confront.

It was off Arapaho road, I think.  If you read some of the Dallas threads back to the beginning, you can find the address.  I'm sure it's here somewhere.

Also, whoever had asked about Steve Brooks recently, same goes.  Rumor is he's in prison, but you can get much more info by reading the beginning of these threads.

In my opinion, too much talk about Brooks.  As egomaniacle as he was, he'd love it if he knew how much chatter was about him.

He does know...

He's a human being just like all of us, and everyone loves attention. I correspond with he and his family on a regular basis. Hopefully he'll stay on a healthy path once he gets out. Lord knows he's been through as much hell as many feel he put them through. How about a little compassion?  He got caught up in the game, and was praised for being the way he was in Straight. It was torture for him, and as a result he has spent the past 19 years trying to erase himself. Also, he too was just a kid when this all began for him. We are all survivors now, and need support.

There never was a good war or a bad peace.
