We all know by now nothing gets the fornits egos (people who maintain avatars in a lame attempt to feign humanity) love nothing more than to play armchair psychologist to program parents. They live for this stuff. Why is another question. Why don't you all just get jobs in the TTI and get it over with? Then you can spend all day telling parents what to do with their kids.

If so, we need to somehow meet and discuss as a group.  CALO is not helping our children, they are taking us for a ride at a very high price tag.  I was very dismayed at the letter that was sent to only a selective group of parents.  I also know CALO has filed a suit (basically a gag order) against former staff members who allegedly wrote the letter.

I can attest that, from my own personal knowledge, that this letter was 100% accurate when it spoke to situations involving my child.  I was told by CALO that these allegation were a fabrication and blatent lies.  CALO lied to my face and I am very upset.  I also have learned many things about CALO that were never disclosed to me during the "admittance process" or ongoing therapy or of their background and previous issues.

Are there any parents out there willing to step up to the plate and hold CALO accountable, at bare minimum at least to find out the truth?   I am.  If you are truly concerned for your child, we need to band together and force the truth out.

I am curious whether there is a copy of that letter in circulation somewhere, which could be posted by someone anonymous... Alternatively, specific points made in that letter could be brought up and discussed.

However, I have concerns as to how this might affect the currently on-going lawsuit.

Someone more versed in these matters please comment.

I don't know any more about it than anyone else does, i.e., whatever info that has been posted here on the threads. From the sound of it, you probably know more than the rest of us.

What I want to avoid is any appearance even, that could be hung on certain people's backs who already have more than enough on their plate. I don't want them to be blamed for my or anyone else's speculation. That's all.

Yes, we have a copy of the letter and what was filed.  Given the current legal situation, I think it's best not to post it, let's let the attorney's do their jobs for now.

If we get the green light, it should be made public knowledge.  However, confidentiality of students and rights of minors and families need to be protected, and all applicable laws followed.  However, I personally believe every parent has the right to see that letter and judge for themselves if it contains accurate information.

If they are as concerned as I am.  Let's direct them to the new Topic just posted so we can further organize.

HELP! I am very concerned reading some of these posts!
I am about ready to send my teen to CALO and happened upon these forums. I would like to know what some of the experiences are that were not good.
It seemed that the kids I saw there were doing pretty well and seemed okay.
Would someone be willing to dialog with me privately?
