I cannot bring myself to relive that experience, at least here on this forum. It's one of those "you had to be there" kind of things. Sorry. You and whoever else is hearty enough are perfectly welcome to give them a try.

 Just call this number:

513-852-4012

It's the news desk there at WCPO in Ohio.

I will say this though... At least it was on the phone instead of in person. whew!

So, basically they insulted you and then hung up on you? How dreadful. You should state what happened if it's not to painful, so how "journalists" treat survivors of cultic abuse and people who inform about child torture is recorded.

People assume if you "go to the media" with testimony of abduction, imprisonment and torture the "journalists" will investigate, and there will be a massive reporting on the subject and public scandal. Set them straight!

Mention the name of the guy who hung up on you.

Well, guest, a long time ago, I obtained a permit from the FCC to use the radio waves as a pilot. Right at this moment I am unclear as to if it is still valid, since that was in 1978, but either way... It is my belief that a media source dedicated to the exposure of this industry is desperately needed. If the other media wants to tell a story about some old lady that dropped her cane and a stranger stole it, well, so what! LOL... If you have a story about a kid in a program, or any program related story, send it in to the station and POOF, thousands of people hear it. Eventually, maybe millions. There was a show ISAC was on for a while back 4 or so years ago, but that was a "flash in the pan" kind of situation. If the media won't listen, and flat out refuse to report this type of activity, then media should be created. Now how do those airwaves really work? TV Signals? How much would it cost to set up a TV station? Radio Station? Who's got the money?

An interesting calculation, although in this case it's quite disturbing. This kid has been on Level One for:

216 days

OR you could say

This is equal to exactly 7 months and 2 days.

OR you could say

5,184 hours.

OR you could say

311,040 minutes

And last but not least, you could even say

18,662,400 seconds

Now I know some survivors who have been on first phase or level one for longer. BUT if you think about it, 18.7 MILLION seconds? Damn, that's like a way alot of seconds.  :jawdrop:

i was on the first level my entire time in program. it wasn't called a "level" but i dealt with everything this kid is dealing with. Very destructive.

I know first hand how the media treats survivors, About 2 years back myself, Maia Szalavitz and another survivor all were scheduled for a live interview with Geraldo Rivera following the coverage of Martin Lee Anderson's death. I was first told that they would fly us out to New York and be on the set with Geraldo, but that fell through, I'm guessing because they werent going to cover those expenses for a story that wouldnt headline. We were all expecting to do at least a 20 minute segment and were told to prepare for several segments through out the hour long show.

To say the least that didnt happen. We had about 2 minutes of coverage, we were all asked 1 question but when they screwed up Maia's feed they directed her question to me... but it still was not sufficient enough time to get our message across. I guess what had happened is someone wrote a book about Anna Nicole Smith and that apparently was more important than what we had to say.

It was so brief I was seriously disappointed, I didnt even get the worst of it tho, not only did the other survivor only get enough time to say ONE word, but Maia didnt get to talk at ALL. I have before been interviewed by a local news station, and it all just seems to go unnoticed and I think it will continue to do so until the fateful day that another teenager dies at the hand of the program. Even though many already have, which is the worst part, How far does the death count need to climb before people start recognizing this as a VERY important issue that SHOULD be widely covered in order to become public knowledge.

OR we need to make OUR OWN media. I honestly believe a LARGE SCALE protest could do the trick. There was some coverage on the congressional hearings, maybe we should use the next hearing on the bill to make a public demonstration. Or maybe we need to protest outside of the schools, all of the schools, one by one or all on the same day. I was trying to plan a protest about a year ago, but lack of funds stumped our progress. If we can get those interested on a private channel to talk I would LOVE to start talks up again. :rocker:

well, pfc has no trouble getting in the news,  http://www.post-trib.com/news/1372554,drugsmain.article

How they can deny a parent from talking to their son, in private, for over 220 days is just really criminal.    :beat:  :beat:  :beat:  :beat:

I used to think that if they only knew, if they only listened to our stories then something would be done.  "People" would care.  It wasn't and isn't the case.  "People" don't view it the way we do.  "People" believe that something needs to be done with all these "out of control kids".   Adolescence is viewed in a pathological sense and until THAT changes, no one is going to really do anything.  Nothing that really has any teeth, or lasting results.  Teenage drug use, pregnancy, drinking etc. are all down and have been going down for a while now.  But you don't hear about that.  You hear about the crazed teen addicts that end up deadinsaneorinjail.  They've got an "anonymous" self help group for everything now.  Even survivors are warning us, HERE of all places, not to write about the cult aspects of AA.  Because we might "do someone someone serious harm by talking them out of seeking help".  Most people think it's perfectly OK to force a kid, or an adult for that matter, into treatment.  Because, afterall, it's "for their own good".  Sure, when they hear of Aaron Bacon or Martin Anderson, they all shake their heads and talk about what a shame it is that THAT place was abusive.  They don't see it as systematically flawed or wrong or abusive.  They see it as just a few of those bad apples that need to be weeded out and then all will be well.  They don't understand that ALL of it is wrong.  And dangerous.  And abusive.  And thought reform.  "People" are looking for an answer.  Any answer.

Not all drug users are abusers.  Not all teenagers need help.  Most don't, but that's not the impression you get "out there".  Fear is a very powerful motivator and they've been wielding that weapon for decades now.

Teen Pig is an urban adolescent
His complexion of margarine
Is wet and waxy
His stride
Like a budding creator/destroyer
A baggie full of killerweed
In his left hand
A pipebomb
In his righteous frostbite fist
He jerks off in traffic jams
He crashes parties
He blacks out
He foreshadows his adult life
Reading firearms magazines
His conscience
Is locked in a storage bin
His point is this:
"I'm the rumpled infant casualty
Of the sexual revolution
The drug explosion
The computer age
The broken home
The nuclear phantom
I hate art
And I hate you"
When the novelty
Of the latest centerfold wears off
When she's worn out
And she stops writhing
Under on top of around
Teen pig's sweaty mind
He imagines he's breaking in
And entering the high-security compound
He sneaks miles underground
Until he finds the humid heart
Of the complex
He spins the wheel on the airtight door..
He enters the chamber
The platform at the center
Is carved and gilded
Black lights and candles
Light up the looming missile
The alpha is painted on one fin
An omega on the second
And "NOTHING IS EASY" on the third..
Teen Pig stuffs the nosecone
With dogwood blossoms
Engraved on the missile's barrel chest
Are these words:
BURN DOWN THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE
STRIP THE BARK FROM THE TREE OF LIFE
MUTILATE THE GINSENG
He interprets the passage
As a command to masturbate
He spits in his palm and smears the metal rocket
He kneels and presses his cock against it
It's warm
Give them some time alone
He's worshipping the only way he knows how
There are four iron-clad books on the floor
One at north south east and west
The eastern book is a photo album
Of the mutant offspring of the survivors
Of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
The western book is a roll call
Of America's missing children
In dreams generations of Japanese freaks
Weep and dance arm in arm
With our own raped and abused innocent babies
The missile and others like it
Is the syphilis
That makes Teen Pig slowly go insane
Like a virus in a schoolyard --
You get well and give it to someone else
They get over it and give it back to you
The north book is an artist's rendering
Of earth-paradise in the dinosaur age
Premammal and everything in its place
The south book contains Voyager's photos of Mars
Red dust tattered atmosphere shrinking ice caps
The war planet
Teen pig says "Give me liberty AND give me death"
He's bulletproof worldproof romanceproof
The stoned youth
Under a board under a mound of fist-sized rocks
Flat out on a cool slab
Press your palm against his breast
Slip your hand down his pants
Activate him resuscitate him
The stoned becomes stone
Teen Pig shouts "I know we're all sisters and brothers --
That's why we're killing one another!"
Give me liberty then let me oppress
Seize the savage promised land
We'll pave our nation with gems and precious eggshell
When the nuclear bomb explodes
There is only the smell of cinnamon and saffron
Our proudest technological achievement
Will tear all technology down
See the beauty in it?
The missile is divine justice
It is the emergency brake
PULL IT!
Wicked human weather
Climb the suspended sky
I'm giddy and erect
With the sensation of catastrophe
If you can't disarm --
EXPLODE!

Their concern was that when people here say crazy-ass shit like A.A. is a cult, 7-11 is a cult, the PTA and Rotary Club is a cult .. those uneducated on program actuality will become confused about programs i.e. GENUINE cults, that practice thought reform. Not so much, “Oh, we’re scared for adolescents!” More “Uh, you’re making us sound as crazy and ‘exaggeration prone’ as KathyS says we are.”

The problem today is modern psychiatry under whose umbrella any kid can/will be assigned a disease. In addition to that, human rights are not being enforced for minors. I’m not really sure why it’s legal to kidnap and hold someone under 18 prisoner. In fact, I have heard it isn’t. So which one is it? Will the police intervene on behalf of a kid who says he is being held prisoner or was kidnapped. No one helped me but will does that change based on the cop you get? Its too crazy to contemplate. And what about kids who are help captive post 18? Why have their not been prosecutions for that? I find this mind blowing..this whole “industry”…it’s insane.

Call this guy, Michigan Dept of Health licensing division:

John Wilhelmsen at 517 241 1970 and explain your experience to the best of your ability and willingness, of course, but to add credence to the sort of treatment someone could expect to receive on LEVEL ONE, or FIRST PHASE for over 200 days in a row. The situation is that this kid cannot talk to the authorities at will, but if many survivor folks came out and voiced their experiences, opinions, etc... to Jim, well, he would have to take notes and would have more incentive to pull their license once and for all. We'll only get out of it what we put into it, so if nobody calls, writes, then nothing will happen. So far there have been at least 4 survivors who have contacted him, so that's a good start. By the middle or end of this week would be the absolute best time for folks to do this. Either way PFC is going through some major PR nightmares right now.

Also, if you are a survivor from a different program style, go ahead and call... it might help somehow.
I CALLED AND TO MY SURPRISE THIS PROGRAM IS NOT EVEN LISCENSED IN MICHIGAN THANKS TO A LOOPHOLE IN THE WHICH MEANS IT IS ONLY SUBJECTED TO INHOUSE OVERSIGHT.
