You think the ad is tasteless, you should see some of the pictures on the box! It's like something you'd see advertised in Playgirl. In every shot but the video cover the package is center focus and accented by light n shadow. I laughed my ass off when I noticed it. Shit, I'm laughing now. Couple of friends I told about it day before yesterday are still laughing today.

I think we have enough going on with this forum as it is. Putting ads like that out.. seems to me we should be reaching out to embrace others.. We are quick to condemn programs for treating gay kids, yet we are joking about gay yoga mats?

A bit of a contradiction i guess.

It doesn't really bother me, but I can see how others might be bothered.

Yeah, well I guess ye may feel differently if ye actually were gay and understand what that is like on a daily basis. I agree with Che that we should embrace others instead of being a part of the ridicule which can aid in tearing people down.
Gay people have to indure a great deal of hate and ridicule in this world. Especially in America where they(we) still do not have equal rights.

This is why it bothers me, DDF.

Aw DP, I'm sorry. Ya know I love ya dearly. I just thought it was funny as hell cause the marketing is subtly but unmistakably targeted to a gay market. I threw the ad on fornits cause ya'll are about the only folk with a sick enough sense of humor to appreciate it. And I had hoped that somebody might bid on it and have it shipped as a prank gift to a friend. But the auction ends in a couple hours, no bids (damn it!) so I'll just pull the ad from here anyway.

Again, sorry I hurt your feelings. You know I didn't mean it in any sort of demeaning way any more than that bit about you and Tony getting kinky with the car and having to move it all indoors if it went any further. Now that was just WRONG but SO funny!
