Happy Birthday Steve!

Happy Birthday Steve!

My brother Steve, woulda been 40 today. That's a bit hard to swallow but what do ya do? I just know he did what he could to make anyone he encountered smile, he was selfless and thoughtful and such a great person.  Above all else he was so compassionate and helped people even when he himself was in need of help.  In the end i think him opening himself up the way he did and having to take in all the crap straight was shooting at him was just too much, I think it would have been for most people.

Fuck Straight Inc.!  Fuck Mel Sembler! Fuck Mel Riddile!  Fuck Dean Mistretta!  Fuck anyone who thinks they have the right to hurt another human being!

I love you Steve. RIP!

All you smokers have a toke for my bro! Or a shot or some milk and cookies, whatever! LOL

 ::bandit::  :smokin:  ::cheers::

now were we cute or WHAT? lol  I'm the midget!

Diva, I am so sorry for your loss.  Steve was in the VA program around the same time I was in St. Pete.  I think you're right.  He took a lot of shit and did what he could to make it a little easier for others.  It's more than anyone can take.  I can't tell you how many times I considered it.  My kids are what kept me from it.  Steve didn't get the chance to feel that.  He was cheated out of his life, like so many others.

Here's to Steve and all the others who just couldn't bear the pain anymore.  Here's to those that still suffer silently.  Here's to those who are sitting in those fucking chairs right now giving their introductions.  Here's to us all.

 ::cheers::  :smokin:  ::dove::

P.S.  I'm having a vape AND some milk and cookies!  Yummy.

Thanks girl although it's not as bad as it might seem. i mean today has become a bit sad but all in all life is good. the last year and a half sucked ass, once summer hit things started to change and i really can't complain about much. had a lot of "self realization" going on, finally remembering things, figuring stuff out that i was confused about before... all that good stuff, but it all helps when you're trying to move forward, which as most know, can be a bit difficult when you aren't totally sure how you got where you are. so thankfully i've started figuring some stuff out.

soooo... i really can't complain..  except about straight and child abusers, they can all burn in hell. Other than that I'm peachy. lol seriously.  thanks though :) *hugs*

I don't think I've ever been inside one.  They opened up the first one in this area a few years ago, but I haven't gone. I'm more of a consignment queen.  I love 'em. :D

A coworker years ago brought in some cookies she made and they were the best I ever had.  She gave me the recipe and mine were good, but cooking has never been one of my strong suits :lol: .
