I don't know how to work in Wiki. Besides, isn't that a venue in which one can research their ass off, post it, then someone can come along and change/delete it. If that's the case, no thanks.

I have copied a lot of the articles on secretprisonsforteens to fornits wiki and have also got something in return (HLA article).

You should always keep copies of the text-files and perhaps it would also be smart if only registered users could edit.

Wiki is a powerful tool and another good thing is that someone could put some of the material on wikipedia by accident.

I hope that you get it working again. I have more articles ready next week.

I will recommend that you look into these pages on wikipedia and read about the syntax.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Wikitext
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_element
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Table

And about changing information. That is the meaning with wiki's. A lot of people changed the information with fact, they have seen or read somewhere.

Just remember to keep it in general terms and in a nice language, so parents would read it all instead of getting offended.

Use a somewhat NPOV language and describe the abuse without any emotions involved, which can be hard. But it is the only way to reach the parents.

Use also the talk pages and remember to end your input with ~~~~
(Which will make it easier to read who has written what).

I have used this losely structure about a facility, but it can be altered:

1 General information (addresses, ownership, number of detainees, type of program etc. school - accreditation if existing.)
2 Program information
2.1 Level contra peer group or combined. Do they use escort firms.
2.2 Description Levels system or group therapy cycles. / chores / work / Daily life
2.3 Consequences aka. punishment
2.4 Living conditions
2.5 Gradution / exit plan
3. Critisism - Refer to media, blogs etc.
4. In the news. Accidents / pulic known suicides etc.
5. Reference
6. External links: Program homepage for the parents, so they know who the page is about, info pages by watch-organisation and competitors like Sue etc. (Let them throw dirt at each other), survivor groups, forums: (Do not forget this).
7. Categories

I am looking forward for others to digg. Please be aware that I could copy something to secretprisonsforteens. By linking to each other, we will enable the search robots to put both pages higher up on search engines.

And should anybody tamper with / vandalize any articles, the IP address will be public for all to see.  And Reputation Defender has been known to edit Wiki's before.  Just take heart.  All those records will eventually damn RD/Sue.  I am recording each and every instance in which i've been banned from a website for trying to promote links to alternative information on Sue.

I will rest for now
« Reply #28 on: August 20, 2007, 04:51:37 PM »
I have transferred a lot of info from secretprisonsforteens to Fornits Wiki and I have to take a rest for now.

I hope someone will take over from here. The CEDU area and their LGAT legacy needs a lot more work. Seed, Straight, Pathway etc. could also need more work and Elan / Hyde is not on at all.

The reason for my break is that a crazy Danish politician in the Danish town Viborg had some problems with 11 to 13 year old kids, which were running around stealing cars during the summer, properly because their parents were on Holiday.

A lot of parents just take of for 14 days leaving their children down to age 12 alone with money (we have a very low crime rate). Then the youth drinks, steels cars etc. And they can not be punished because the Danish laws forbids any child under 15 to be put in a courtroom. It is a job for the social services and because placement is expensive, they often give the child to a relative until the parents comes home and in rare occations the parents gets a fine.

So this politician had been to america and he saw a boot camp (We do not have boot camps in Denmark in our penal system.), and he want to put children aged 11 to 14 in such camps.

More info here in Danish:

The Danish justice minister has to take position about the boot camps
Criminal children has to be placed into camps

That is where we in our group come into the picture. A total attack on him and his suggestion has been lanched and our next step is to suggest an alternative solution, which can be read here:

The RRN program - our solution

So I am off here for a while. I have a domestic battle to fight.

Good look with the Wiki.

yet another testament to how (most) northern europeans are more morally concious, and like to uphold freedom more than the people of the "land of the free". i said it before and i'll say it again...i love the dutch and i love the danes. swedes and norwegians too but not as much...they got alot of religious nuts there.
