Jayne Selby Longnecker - CEDU school (Running Springs) 7 years (86-93), eventually director.
Sharon Scoggins - CEDU School (Running Springs) 14 years 1980 - 1994, accountant  8-)

Most of the other staff are just ex-cons only a few of which have HS educations.

Carl Janowitz was also there (was at CEDU school in Running Springs) until he decided to go live in Thailand... for reasons which are up to debate.

Jayne's Daughter, Joelle, functioned as a counselor until she took on an administrative function at Benchmark. It has been alleged that she was the one to push the successful suicide over the edge with her harsh confrontation.


Benchmark Young Adult School - CEDU features

Raps galore (renamed group).. however they still have "rap sheets" (the ones you where you write down your issues (or who you want to blast) before group starts).  Raps are longer than they are at CEDU...  and when a person is put on the spot, it can last hours.  

Propheets still exist.  In addition to Brothers keeper, which was extended a bit (called friendship workshop), there are also several camping trips mirroring the other propheets.  The music is the same, the reading material is the same...

It's CEDU.. they "improved" on it and modified it so it would work with over 18, but... they found a way.  innovative little fuckers.

Ever notice how all these places are called {enter shitpit name here} Academy?  Used to be that only certain elite prep schools went by the name of XXX Academy.  Somehow, perhaps in attempting to whitewash the inferior academics or connote illusions of desirability or elitism, so many of the worst schools now try to call themselves Shitpit Academy.

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but i'm gonna write a random program name generator.
