MEMORIAL DAY: MARTINO, ITALY AND THE US SAME DESTINY
(AGI) - Nettuno (Italy), May 31 - Antonio Martino said talking from the American cemetery in Nettuno, on the occasion of Memorial Day " anti-Americanism in Europe and anti-Europe feelings in the US should be rejected because our destiny is the same". The US ambassador in Italy, Mel Sembler, took part too to this celebration, together with Francesco Rutelli leader of Margherita party, Luigi Ramponi, President of Defence Commission in Parliament, Marco Minniti and Massimo Brutti of DS party and Ugo Intini. Martino said "Today as in the past freedom is in danger, and we have to protect it at all costs." .
