LIFE PROGRAM/ GROWING TOGETHER INC

JUST LOOKING FOR OLD FRIENDS.

I WENT THROUGH THE LIFE PROGRAM IN SARASOTA IN 1986.  WHEN GROWING TOGETHER INC OPENED IN 1987 I WORKED THERE  AS A ORIGINAL STAFF MEMBER UNTIL 1990.  WHAT HAPPENED TO BOTH PROGRAMS?  AND MRS PETE?

I WORKED CLOSE WITH BARBARA GRIFFITH AT GROWING TOGETHER AND SHE REALLY CARED ABOUT THE KIDS AND WHAT A GREAT LADY. I GREW UP IN PALM BEACH AND WENT TO JUPITER HIGH AND FINISHED AT PALM BEACH GARDENS. WHILE I WORKED AT GROWING TOGETHER THE PROGRAM WAS GREAT AND ALOT OF KIDS BEGAN TO GET WELL AND HAVE A BETTER LIFE WITH THEIR FAMILY.

THE LIFE PROGRAM SAVED MY LIFE. SINCE LEAVING GROWING TOGETHER I STARTED MY LAW ENFORCEMENT CAREER IN 1991  I SERVED WITH A POLICE DEPT., (SHERIFF'S OFFICE, DEA TASK FORCE AND THE US MARSHAL TASK FORCE).  I THANK THE PROGRAM FOR CHANGING MY LIFE.
 
I DONT GET ON THE COMPUTER TO MUCH BUT WHEN I DID AND OBSERVED ALL THE NEGATIVE TALK ABOUT THE LIFE PROGRAM AND GROWING TOGETHER IT PUZZLED ME.

THE 7 STEPS WERE BASED ON AA WHICH HAS BEEN KEEPING PEOPLE SOBER SINCE THE 1940'S.  


ANYWAY  greg   (wanting info on what happened to both programs thanks)

Hopefully Ms. Pete either is or will be rotting in hell soon for what she did to those kids.  You're seriously puzzled at the negativity?  Really?

Patrol Operations Deputy of the Quarter: Greg Farless

Deputy Farless has been with the agency since November of 1994. He has worked in CID, SIU, and patrol. A review of Deputy Greg Farless’ activity for the 2nd quarter is as follows:

2 – felony arrests totaling 5 charges
6 – misdemeanor arrests totaling 11 charges
20 – warrant arrests
15 – traffic citations
2 – written warnings
10 – correction cards
63 – verbal warnings
46 – criminal reports
54 – directed close patrols
25 – foot patrols

During the last three months, he has consistently maintained a high level of productivity. Deputy Farless has been instrumental in teaching and mentoring the squad’s newer deputies. Greg has acquired a talent for finding almost any person no matter of their persistence not to be found. He has been contacted by several different detectives throughout the Treasure Coast wanting his assistance in locating a person or persons wanted for a particular crime or even a hard to find person of interest.

During the second quarter, he arrested 20 persons with outstanding warrants while still responding to calls for service in his assigned zones. Those 20 individuals were wanted on 16 misdemeanor charges and 9 felony charges.

We thank Deputy Farless for a job well done.

i was forced into that deprograming nightmare when i was 15. i guess around 88 89. that misserable shithole fucked up both my and my sisters lives and our relationship with our parents to this day. i have no doubt that ther were some people there that benefitted from being brain washed but i personaly was physicaly restrained by other patients(fucking deplorable and illegal) and still have constant pain from having my elbows hyper extende backwards by a hillbilly tweaker douche who had a problem with skater punkrockers. every time my elbows pop out of socket i curse mrs pete and all the staff there to hell. mrs pete gave my parents a refund for getting me out of the country because hrs investigators were coming to take statements from me and another inmate. they sent me to palms for psychiatric evaluation and immediately after my release i was put on a plane to scotland where hrs couldnt contact me. the other guy who was filing a complaint to hrs was allowed to escape knowing that at the first chance to run that he would and did. he had a massive alergic reaction and they refused him medical treatment for days which was his complaint. those people running that place are at best conmen and women and at worst guilty of falsely improsoning people and scamming worried parents out of their life savings as well as insurance fraud just for starters. i was not on drugs when i was forced into that shithole and wasnt even drug tested. i have run into 8 or 9 people i knew from ther over the years and every single one relapsed and then had serious psychological problems coping with their guilt because of the outdated millitary brainwashing techniques that were used. they beet into our heads how your parents were always right and faultless when many of us had been abused by them in everyway imaginable. greg i remember you and you were a fucking drone for the program and now youre a drone for law enforcement. i hope some thing awfull happens to you when you are on a call becuse you took joy  in my and others suffering. go die you twat. and i pray that old bitch mrs pete is rotting in hell because she deserves no less. and if any one knows where chris budlong is he swiped my leather jacket when he was tripping at my appartment while he was staff there. i have no hard feelings bout it just miss the guy and wondered if might still have it. hang in there survivors.

i was there in the early 90s  seven step only becuae i was court oprdered ...and i never did drugs....Mrs pete is evil so was or is mrs powell...to late to sue for damages...?
