Oh yes! The music of my youth, or my "druggie past"  :smokin: They were (and still are) one of my favorite punk bands...It was 1982 when someone lent me a green cassette tape by them. It had FVK (Fearless Vampire Killer) on it, the album might have been called that...it started off with "Sail On". Some other songs were "Right Brigade".."I", etc..

My favorite line from the Rock For Light album is "...the bourgeoisie had better watch out for me...".  These guys rocked, too bad HR had to fuck up all the record deals they were constantly being offered.  Check out the Void/Faith split EP if you want some classic harDCore (I love the Vesalius images on the album cover).  Later, Member of the FVK.

The Faith/Void split EP. Ah, yes. I remember being 15 or 16 in DC at the Wilson Center after some bands got done playing and people were hawking that album. I don't think I ever actually heard it until I was in the program. That's some great DC-Core. Alec MacKaye (Faith singer)is a good guy. I hung out with him a few times long after I was out. He used to visit the Lungfish people who are good friends of mine, and who I roadied for on their 1st three US tours. Good times.  :tup:

Yeah Patrick Henry was totally against the bicameral (sp?) legislative system proposed by James Madison and his Virgina plan

with the 2 branches the pres. ect

he feared that the president would strip the power from the states which was what federalisim was all about in the 1st place

he was so right, brilliant man he knew human nature he knew that there was no way states and a strong solid government could truely co-exsist

Madison's response was that if any "state" felt their rights were being infringed upon they could "bare arms" leave the union.

Then came the civil war they did just last but they did not win. The fact that they were wrong or right I am not debating what my point is that the right to leave the union is there but you may very well be beaten into submission

in the end so much has changed but really not a damn thing

did that make sense????  :???:
