With drugs being so rampant in today's world, I am considering making my kids take Home Drug Tests every 60 days regardless of drug history. My kids so far are all drug free but I want to be on top of my kids to make sure. My question for the Fornits Experts is hw do you guys view parents making their kids take Home Drug Tests?

Until you have evidence that your children have an actual drug addiction, you should NEVER do what youre thinking about doing. First of all, if they are good kids, leave them be. Secondly, you lose any sort of bond or trust you have with them. If they trust you they will tell you if they have a problem. Thirdly, despite the media, there is no "rampant" drug problem with kids today. The kids are still doing the same stuff they did when I was in school(20-25 yrs ago) They usually stick to drinking, smoking cigs, and pot. Occasionally it gets worse, (crack, meth, coke, heroin), but thats an exception, rather than the rule. Usually kids who get hooked on something have another underlying issue that drove them to go overboard. My advice would be to watch, be open minded, and trusting. If you notice a problem, talk to them. Leave the policing to the police.

Yes, you should definitely test them on a regular basis for any kind of illicit drugs. And while you're at it, you need to closely inspect their genitals for evidence of any sexual activity. Don't be afraid to stick your nose down there and take a good whiff. And if you have boys, make sure you check their rectums. If you discover that your son is having homosexual relations, you should immediately send him to a program that will prevent him from turning gay.

Your kid probably isn't using drugs, but after this show of complete distrust and turning your house into a police state I am sure your kid will want to try them. Then their friends will explain what drugs will and won't show up on your cheap ass home drug test, and they will get high using drugs that won't show up on your test. And, because instead of just asking your kid to be honest with you (hard to do, I know, when you have been so dishonest with them), you will never now the truth. Your kid will get high on prescription drugs or shrooms or lsd or ecstacy or alcohol another drug that won't show up. At least, that is what I would do if you were my parent. If your kid had a real drug problem you wouldn't need some cheap test to tell you so. Those tests or marketed to control freak parents, and they sell whether they work or not!  :rofl:
