To clear up some confusion , please file your affadavits with your local or appropriate law enforcement officials and forward a certified copy the address below. This address is a safe address if you have any doubts , email wes fager or ginger.

If your affadavit is a civil matter, meaning no crime has been committed then send a notorized statement to us and we will forward that to our civil attorney who will then contact you in refrence to a civil trial.

Any affadavits send to us will be with your permission to use in a research and investigative report into STraight and DFAF which will be made public.
This report is due out  in the end of December so, we need all of your information prior to then.
If you have documents but no statement send them to the address below. Again, if you have ANY question to the credibility of this group and their purpose you may contact Wes Fager or ginger.

If for any reason you do not want to file charges or file your affadavit with local law enforcement officials. You can still send us your affadavit to us which we might use in our report. Your affadavit will be reviewed by a Paralegal prior to be put in the report to protect you.

My understanding of this affidavit thing is that it's more or less just another way of bringing exposure on these thugs that harmed us. Now I can't and won't blame ANYBODY out there if they don't wanna do an affidavit, I personally am wrestling back and forth with this idea in my own mind, but it's a personal decision I have to make and I will do it when I am good and ready of course. I always looked at it that if we do what we can to exposed these a-holes, the current Straight-like places in operation will have to take notice that their days of harming children TODAY are numbered. I know they can NEVER repay me for what they took from me, but in my mind, I keep thinking why should a whole new generation of kids suffer, what can I do to help them? I guess my answer to all would be, just do what your comfortable with doing....

Take care.....Ken

Hey Ken, turnouts usually are less than expected, so it comes as no suprise that most people don't want to participate. There are the doers and the nondoers. This is pretty heavy stuff. People have to remember stuff from 20 years ago, harder for some than others, of course. We have documents, incriminating the guilty parties, and combined with personal statements, will only help to generate sufficient interest in the Movement and courts will start to listen to us. Just because someone does not want to do something doesn't mean that they shouldn't do it. And, of course, nobody should overly expect that people will do things like that, but I am a bit more excited about this thing than most, so I tend to come off as being a bit pushy. I am sorry, I just like to get things going with this. Every time I try to have an event for news entities, nobody shows up. OK, so there you have it, nobody cares, so why keep trying?  :???:  MG8

I wrote my affidavit the other day, that is done.  Now I am wondering about the wisdom of sending it off to be read by who knows who.  [whom?]

To anon,
If you are a survivor and forgive my questioning it but twice now youve asked for our names. hmmmmm... Most survivors would understand why we arent giving them and giving wes fager and ginger as our crediability backers is enough for most. So, ummm ... we were wondering who you are that wants our names. If we werent legit we couldnt use Wes.

I've been mulling this affidavit thing over for the past couple of days...And I'd like to go ahead and swear one out...but...I wonder if it
is even worth it. Let me explain - the thing is, was I party to enough of what the COURTS would consider abuse? That's why I'm writing....

Ok - I had to sit bolt upright for 12 hours a day, couldn't always piss when I wanted to, deprived of sunlight, deprived of a pillow on my 1st night, was yelled at, insulted, etc...I witnessed (other newcomer in my host home) someone being made to wear the same shirt for at least a week, someone being made to climb up and down a stepladder all day...someone being 'nitpicked.' Was present for at least one 'bust ass' rap...But the problem is, could any of this be LEGALLY considered abuse? It ain't much compared to some of the horrors that others witnessed and/or were victims of. I just don't know if it's even worth it, but I'm open to comments and I'd like to hear some...please let me know what you all think about this, should I bother or not?...FR13

In answer to your question as a paralegal I cant give "legal" advise. What I can do is to perhaps suggest that the question you posed should be left for legal minds to determine. If you write it up you are only attesting to the fact that this is what happened to you. Whether it is abuse or not can be reviewed by our legal team and we can let you know.

Sincerely,
Paralegal for the survivors
