Hold your breath for the sake of incarcerated children!
« on: September 08, 2009, 08:27:58 PM »
This is an exercise in protest and remote solidarity activism. What I want you to do is hold your breath. We could do a moment of silence but that's too easy. What I want you to do is read the following paragraph while holding your breath. If it starts to hurt or become difficult, remember the kids inside of programs and the pain they are in. God is watching and more importantly you, yourself, will know whether you participate in this exercise with an honest and open heart. Ready?

Press your return key.

Take a deep breath!

I remember the children currently incarcerated against their will. I reach out into the universe with my soul in search of their soul to comfort and transmit my message. God, deliver my message of comfort and deliverance to the young people locked up against their will. I pray for them to make it through their incarcerated period psychologically and physically intact. I hope they can find love again in their life and I pray for their future. I remember the incarcerated children in programs right now. They exist as much as I do. They stare up at the same stars as I, and they deserve my remembrance. Please take my message, God, and transmit my message of good will to all who are listening. Amen.

OK. You can take a breath now!

Whew!!!! Did you do it? Good for you! God is listening and the more voices that are asking for the same thing, the more likely the prayer is to be answered. I hope you weren't turned off by the God references, if you were then I hope you might reconsider reading this statement with an open and humble heart. If you read it, I congratulate you on taking action against programs. Your mind is a powerful force, and God's will sometimes needs direction. The more time you read this statement, while holding your breath in solidarity with the children, the better! Do it again, right now, for the kids! :-)
